Lyle McDonald's Ultimate Diet and Generic Bulk

I started snooping round the Body Recomposition site a good while back. A lot of information to read and re-read and partially assimilate.

Anyway, I got my hands on a few of his books. Very well written and full of some complex information, rendered fairly accessible.

I know he's v well regarded by a few heads on here so was wondering if anyone (or lots of people) had completed a few (or many) cycles of his Ultimate Diet 2.0?

I get the science and rationale etc and would like to give it a lash, when I've dropped another few pounds, beginning of June, but it scares the bejaysus out of me!

So for anyone who has done it, is it as tough as it seems? Worth doing? An honourable challenge?

Also anyone used his Generic Bulk template? Again seems solidly straightforward.

I don't train legs. Could I use this M/W/F going Heavy/Light/Moderate? All upper of course or is it too much?

    Long story...major injury!

Technically I could, but I might as well train thumbs.

    Sorry!!

Yeah could do heavy Monday, light Wednesday and Medium Friday. With the extra calories and weekend off, recovery should be fine for Monday.

I think everyone should include a thumb day in their programme.
