I'm awful tempted to write "examiner I know what you did, an A1 and it all goes away" on each of my papers, in the hope that one of the examiners is actually a murderer.

That might not help in the subjects where the examiner isn't a murderer.

highlighting all the A's in your essays as an attempt of subliminal messaging might work either..

Depends on the subject I suppose! Those Chemistry teachers have way too many chemicals at their disposal. :P
