WWE will air SmackDown tonight at 8pm EST live on SyFy with an old school theme from the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia. WWE Legends advertised for tonight’s show include Gene Okerlund, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Dusty Rhodes, Ted DiBiase Sr., Mick Foley, Sgt. Slaughter, Tony Atlas, Pat Patterson, Hillbilly Jim, Howard Finkel, Jimmy Hart, Mae Young and Roddy Piper. No matches have been announced for the tapings but six-man action with Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show is advertised locally.

WWE has announced that Daniel Bryan will be the special guest on Roddy Piper's "Piper's Pit" on tonight's live Smackdown television special.
Bowel's POV: This has the potential to be a good angle and it will be interesting to see how the crowd responds to Bryan. Will the "Yes! Yes! Yes!" chants continue or was it a product of the WrestleMania 28 crowd in Miami?

Depends on the crowd if this whole 'yes!' thing keeps going. Last nights crowd was terrible.

Cant see this being as nostalgia-rific as the old school raw was.
Seems like we will just get a load of old wrestlers on a show that some of them had retired 10 years before the show begun!

Quite enjoyed the Danielson/Piper/AJ stuff,plus Sheamo's segments have been quite good too.

Matches have been cack though in fairness.

Why is Piper still better than nearly the entire WWE roster? Even crazy Piper is better than most of the WWE roster.
