Going with Clermont win myself even though a semi in London would be much nicer.

Will have to see how the first 10-15 mins goes for Clermont. They have a cracking team but often don't travel well. They lost 2 out of 3 away games in the pool stages, only managing to beat Aironi

James on the bench which means they have better chance than last 3 years as he blew the game for them against Leinster.

I'd prefer to watch a Clermont Leinster semi.

Think Sarries will win this it'll be a challenge against such a big Clermont side, Vosloo's absence at the break down is a big loss. Looking forward to seeing how Brits performs, on his day he's a great player to watch.

    As a neutral I'd prefer a Leinster-Clermont semi.

Dewi Morris must have the most annoying face in the world...get off my tv!

Looking forward to this match. Although Clermont's away record is brutal, I expect them to perform close to their best today as the reward is a 'home' semi. From a Leinster point of view, I'd prefer a Saracens win.

How can Saracens pack Wembley but not sell out Vicarage Road?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,889 ✭✭✭tolosenc

So we want Sarries then? :P

    KOM BOKKE!

Ah he's not the worst, just passionate. Save your hate for Mark Robson. Now there's a man who needs multiple digs to the nosh.

Half the Wembley tickets were given away for half nothing. Clermont returned part of their allocation late. The occasional fans who want a day out got it in Wembley Vicarrage Road doesn't have the same appeal to the occasionals.

Hope this turn into the Rolland show

Jamie Cudmore - lol. Yellow card burning a hole in any ref's pocket when he's on the pitch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,398 ✭✭✭ongarite

James on already. He can be so hot and cold. Usually cold in these big games.

    Dead leg for Skrela.

Jesus skrela injured in the first 3 mins, James on.

Brock James... could be bad times for Clermont ahead

    C'mon Sarries.

I made all my preparations for the semis assuming they'd be in London or St. Etienne, so I'm screwed if Clermont win!

Oh don't worry plenty of hate for Robson!

Morris reminds of the Churchill dog with his nodding head

Right that makes sense, they're on the move to Barnet anyway apparently.

Sounds like Clermont are at home clapping the kicker.

I'll never forget the Leinster/Clermont QF a few years ago.

Brock James had one of the worst meltdowns I've ever witnessed.

Clermont were better than us but James missed almost every kick.

I was sitting in the north stand, we were beginning to feel sorry for him after his 4th missed penalty.

Strettle did well there, so much pressure from Clermont.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,398 ✭✭✭ongarite

Ouch!! That looked painful for Para

    Saracens' scrum getting mashed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37 kevwotton

Clermont are looking up for this, scrum is already in the ascendancy. Clermont fans are making a lot of noise.
    Saracens look rattled

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Great kick, 0-9

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,591 ✭✭✭✭Aidric

This game has started in the same pattern as the earlier QF.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,815 ✭✭✭Burgo

15 minutes and i already want to murder Robson.

I wish someone would go Travis Bickle on him, to use his reference.

Killing the Saracens scrum. This is easy points for Clermont.

You'd swear it was a Clermont home game, CA fans making all the noise.

Both teams not playing that great at the moment.

He even managed to get the quote wrong...

Seriously though-am very worried about having to play Clermont away. They have huge physicality.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,915 ✭✭✭MungBean

Thoguht the ref was gonna take the ball and run for the line there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 751 ✭✭✭lologram

Dewi Morris: "Leinster won't be losing much sleep watching these two."

If they play like this perhaps. But isn't it always the way that Toulouse (apart from this year) limp to the quarters and start rolling in the big games? Hopefully it isn't the case that either of these teams suddenly become 23 Supermen when it becomes Leinster's turn.

    Lol pathetic from Parra
