Looking for a place in Ireland that sells MMA gloves.. just for some sparring and a bit of bag work or if anyone is selling a pair?
    I am a large..

also is it worth buying hand wraps when doing bag work?
    thanks

Always put on your hand wraps before doing any bag work.

As for the MMA gloves , check out the gear & equipment sticky.

I would not use MMA gloves for bag work

    You will wreck them

    +1

They don't really offer a lot of protection for your hands either.

Don't suppose anyone near Clondalkin is selling anything like this to save me from ordering and waiting for the stuff aye?

Get 8 oz for sparring and c class. The 4oz can cause cuts very easily.

SBG is kind of near Clondalkin. Longmile Road in Walkinstown/Drimnagh area. There's gloves there I think, dunno if they're just for members or what.

hey mate if you want to save money what i usually do is put a plastic bag over my hands and then wrap it completely with duct tape until its really thick. I then get a sponge and cut it so its not too thick and superglue it to the duct-taped bag.

Fightshop had 50% OFF punchtown MMA gloves on Friday, not sure if its still valid. Use voucher code: punchtown. Fightshop are good, bit pricey sometimes with delivery but some good deals to be found. I have a pair of Sandee and they are brilliant, they really take some beating.

Also another cheap alternative is RDXinc.co.uk - they have some really good prices on MMA equipment. Sportsdirect can also do some good deals and Amazon can also have a few decent deals - need to look though as you have to include postage into the equation.
