Pat Cooke in Newtownmountkennedy, Co.Wicklow stocks it. €9.50 a box, I'd say he would give a discount if you were going to buy a few boxes.

9.50? Jesus that's not reasonably priced at all, I can get them for 6e for 50. I don't use them anymore but that's what they cost me a couple of months ago.

    Hi Alan,

Please tell us where you have been getting RWS R50 for 6 Euro a box, as I know myself and many others would probably buy several thousand at that price !

    Regards

    DB

Are you sure it was R50? RWS make some cheaper lines of .22 ammo that could have been €6 for 50.

Most .22 ammo at the quality level of R50 is €10 for 50, plus or minus a euro depending on how much you buy and where you buy it.

It's match grade ammo Alan - not your bog standard stuff.
€10 for 50 is roughly the going rate, €9.50 is a good deal.

Anywhere selling it for any less than that would have no chance of keeping it in stock. ;)

match rounds are still subsonics - they're just a more precisely finished bullet over a more consistent powder load. ;)
