Keith Barry posted today and yesterday that he's on, doing an excerpt of 8 Deadly Sins.

No word on anyone else yet though.

RTE canteen is probably empty so they have their "researchers" out scouring the streets for "guests" to interview

Could end up with indepth interviews into "dealing on the boardwalk", learning the "magic knock" to get into a pub and RT will lead a discussion on the eggs JFK ate at easter

Buddy Greco is going to be on it. 85 years old. Will probably bring down the average age of the guests a bit.

Nothing on RTE site about who's on....maybe it's recorded or else the think they have a captive audience so won't post line up...?

Noswaith dda, Ryan mentioned Buddy Greco on his show this morning, no other announcements on the official facebook and twitter. The last resort could be Liveline's 'Funny Friday' crew :eek:

    EDIT: Just found this:-

Folk the Recession live on the #LateLateShow tonight Featuring: Eleanor Shanley, Séamus Begley, Frankie Lane, Mick Hanley and Paul Kelly continue touring with the delightfully titled 'Folk the Recession' show, a lively mix of music, story and song.

    Sorry Syl!

I'm gonna be watching without beer tonight.. :(... I feel like one of those Russian soldiers that was sent in to war without a rifle..

Also on, the 'Kilkenny Miracle Transplant Mum'. More here:-

    And marathon swimmer Steve Redmond.

Might be a bit of a Barney McKenna Tribute night...RIP... Would be a good idea if not for tonight then for future shows.

Ah here lads, it's The Late Late Show, not The Mooney Show..

Just heard (from the RTE continuity announcer) that Keith Barry is also on tonight.. I'm just wondering, is it likely to be a pre record tonight, given that it's Good Friday?

Just caught the promo before the news.
Coming up on The Late Late Show just after the news, Diarmuid Gavin unveils his latest grand design for Chelsea. One of the legendary members of The Rat Pack, Buddy Greco, drops in for a tune and a chat. We'll meet the Irish born chef cooking up a storm in the States. And Waterford's international master of mentalism, bamboozles us with his magic.. We'll have music tonight from the winners of the All Ireland Schools Choir Competition, as well as a collection of Ireland's finest folk singers.

Cant believe Diarmuid Gavin is doing Chelsea again.. He was on whinging with Marian a couple of weeks ago about how he only entered last year for patriotic reasons... Lets see how he does without two million euro of State money...

The School Choir singing tonight who won the All Ireland competition in Belfast will be Wesley College from Ballinteer.

That is my rival school; I am a past pupil of
    Newpark Comprehensive School.

I was listening to a documentary on Radio One earlier (god that sounds bad when I look at it written down :( ) about a reformed alcoholic who said that "drink spoiled everything"...

I'm NOT drinking tonight while watching The Late Late Show, for the first time in a few years... What are the chances that show will actually be GREAT, and it was in fact the drink that was similarly spoiling it for me over the last few years? (coincidentally starting when Tubridy began hosting)...

I await your opinions on my hypothesis, and will keep a happiness log throughout the show to test my theory..

Radio 1 have some excellent Documentaries, it is one of the things they do well.

Well worth checking out their archive

I love gardening but I always preferred watching Gerry Daly, Dermot O'Neill and Helen Dillon. I'm not a fan of Diarmuid Gavin.
