Hey anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
I dont have many details its for a friend.
They have a hp laptop, and can only access safe mode.
They haven't installed any software recently but all of a sudden it started crashing today.
    any ideas would be great
    thanks

    which version of windows ?

unplug everything from the laptop on the off-chance it's a peripheral

if you can get into safe mode , do a virus scan , and if that's clean do a system restore to when it was last working
