The Web Malware Collection

Hey guys, got a nice project to share with ye all.

This collection was inspired by an amazing talk at CampusCon on Honeypots, and after I started getting some samples together I made a rather nice "collection" of web malware, etc.

I am still sorting out samples, categorizing, etc, from kippo logs and such. It is taking quite a while!

Anyways, this ever-growing collection of evil files is kept in a SVN repo for everyone to download for analysis, messing with, and generally so the security community can see what kind of nastyware the bad guys are using these days.

I keep a kind-of-change log over on the project page on my site, and who knows. I may even keep updating the changelogs...

    Project Page: http://insecurety.net/projects/web-malware/
    GoogleCode: http://code.google.com/p/web-malware-collection/

Now for those of you unfamiliar with Subversion, here is the command (linux) to "download" the repo. You will need to install "subversion" first.

    svn checkout http://web-malware-collection.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ web-malware-collection

That command will pull the latest version of the collection to your computer. Your antivirus will likely kill you.

Have fun, and DONT RUN THE EXECUTABLES!

*This collection will make your AV go mental BTW
**It is also not advisable to load any of this onto a webserver. Ever.
