How to remove ebay reserve price

Despite reading all the FAQ's and help sections on ebay I cant seem to remove the reserve price on my products being sold. I am a first time seller and thought that by setting a reserve I could retain the items if the price wasnt met but the minimum reserve was €70. My items will only get to €40 or €50.

The auction is in full swing with loads of bids but I cant seem to eliminate this minimum reserve of €70 or even reduce it.

I stupidly thought I could use it as protection if small bids were coming in but if not I then thought I could just remove it.

Am I stuck with it? Would just like a straight forward end of sale without 2nd chance offers and all of that.

    Thanks.

You cant touch a listing once there are bids.
If you are a first time seller you really need to know what, when and how before selling stuff or someone will either rip you off, or you will make a mistake that will leave you with poor feedback.
There are plenty of posters here who will gladly answer any questions you have about listing on ebay, especially if you are a newbie.
The thing with ebay is that the policies and rules can change from time to time and you need to keep abreast.

    thanks...

the thing is I thought I clearly read on ebay that you can change or remove a reserve price once there is more than 12 hours left and once a bid has been made and in fact you lower your reserve to 1 dollar/euro above the current highest bid. Thats the only reason I set it as I knew I would be lowering it or removing it if there was interest shown.

Seems you are right and I cant do anything with it.
