Apparently Nicki sold out in 38 seconds...shows the demand for tickets. Didn't get some myself :/ had some for row M in the circle but time ran out on me and they were given up. Raged!

    Possibly.

The only officialish thing I can see says less than 2 minutes. There will wither be a second night or a bigger venue announced soon I predict.

Apparently Nicki herself has been on twitter saying the venue will be changed.

Nicki Minaj could sell out London* twice.

    *The whole City.

I can't wait, managed to grab tickets this morning. Was definitely less then a minute and they were gone from the website, more around 6 seconds.

I must bring a stop watch with me next time I go to buy tickets.

was around a ticket master where i work, seen people queuing early, then went around at like 8:55 and waited to see what happened, it must have been 9:02 before a man came out and said it was sold out, 3 people in the line , got tickets!!! there was tears shed, which i was amazed by!!! she's one of the biggest females artists out, there is no reason for her not to sell out the o2, its pure and simple, her tickets may not sell out straight away ( might do aswell) but come closer to the date tickets would be more likely to be bought, from what iv been told about que's etc and the amount of people that couldnt get tickets is another reason why she hshould play a bigger venue than the stupid olympia

She said she's going to come back in a few months, I bet she'll do the O2 or some other big arena then. I feel like they were just testing the waters with the Olympia to see what the demand was.

Just to let you know, it's not her that picks the venue. It's local promoters that do that.

If she says she is coming back in a few months to a larger venue then a promoter has been in touch with her booking team :)

Also, I seen that Rap Ireland on Facebook are giving away 2 free tickets to the gig.

So dissapointed, if I had known she was coming I woulda been first in line. Its annoying because been wanting to see her live since early days, ****ty ticketmaster didnt alert me of her tickets either even though i have it set up by text and email... :/ what terrible service.

I honestly laughed at this one. Do you realise what the up in smoke tour is or who was part of it?

One of the greatest tours of all time. Everyone on it was at the peak of their powers. There'll never be another like it. Even watching it on dvd in your sitting room would be better than the majority of other concerts at the moment.

That performance of "Still DRE" is one of the greatest live performances ever imo. The way everyone in the arena got up and bounced their hands like a lowrider is spine tingling. Wish I had been there for it.

It has to be the most westcoast thing to ever happen in america.
I'd probably have turned black if i was at the up in smoke tour.

They never came over to Europe. I'd probably have flown over there for it.

There is no group of rappers that you could put together to rival it these days. Watch the Throne is the closest, but even that is lacking another 3/4 all-time greats from the billing. Nicki, Weezy and Ross wouldn't be allowed to within a million miles of it.

Even if the up in smoke tour had come over here I would have been way too young for it. In fact i doubt i knew who snoop or dre or ice cube were back then.

It's a pity kanye and jay aren't bringing a support act. For nearly 80 quid a ticket you'd expect somebody to come long with them.

I'd have been 10. No way I'd have even considered going.

Yea it is a pity alright but they do play around 45 songs. And considering their back catalogue of some of the greatest songs of all time I think that the money isn't all that much. Especially when the tickets for Nicki's concert are only €20 cheaper.

As good as Jay/Ye are it is nowhere near the up in smoke lineup as Dre and Cube alone would rival them at that time in terms of songs and performance and throw in 10+ more great rappers.

If it was here I would never haven been able to get to it, barely could have gotten a bus into town. But from watching on youtube it will likely never be rivaled again.

Completley agree, it was the woodstock of rap basically.
Any 2 of the bigger artists from the up in smoke tour would out perform kanye and jay.

    That is all.

To be honest, I'd take the likes of Nas or Wu-Tang or Busta Rhymes in their prime any day over Dr. Dre or Ice Cube or Snoop Dogg (as much as I love him) in theirs. It was a great line-up though, the best that there's been so far and definitely better than Minaj and Rick Ross and whoever else (hate Rick Ross, hate him even more than Minaj, if that were possible).

Can't say I'm crazy about that. There's just always something about her songs that I find really annoying.

ye its nothing great or anything, i think its as good as it gets from her these days in terms of hip hop, most of her stuff is pop and dance.

if i didnt see the video, i wouldnt of liked the track or even gave it a listen tbh.:)

Azealia Banks is great looking. And she is bisexual. It's a laugh really cause there is not one single male rap fan out there that would give her grief over it. In fact it'll probably make her more popular.

There are some serious double-standards regarding sexuality in society in general, not just hip hop. It's such a big deal if a man admits he's gay or bisexual, but if a woman admits it, the reaction is more like 'nice'. And it's even less likely that there'll be a back-lash against someone like Azealia Banks because she's a good-looking girl. It sure is odd. It kinda makes me feel even more sorry for guys like Prodigy over in the other thread. It's cool if it's a woman, but the men are ridiculed.
