Gingers in Ireland?

I have auburn hair, but with brown eyebrows and brown/green eyes. We'll be extinct soon, so if anyone wants to book me for parties or photo ops for the grandkids, let me know.

In Poland for some reason, people see redheads as being mentally retarded. Love nothing more than embarassing the girlfriend in shops when we are in Poland visiting her family. I'd be running around bringing her a cardigan and calling it bread or milk in Polish.

It has it's advanages.

This is not what the OP was talking about though, she has no freckles and 'whatnot', if that girl in the pictures dyed her hair I would never tell she was ginger. A true ginger could be spotted from 100m with dyed black hair.

I think more are dying hair at home, just like I see more grannies and auld fellas going about nowadays with ridiculously jet black hair.

I've noticed tonnes of ginger kids all about the place lately but what I especially notice is their parents - who mostly do not have red hair.
I'm convinced it skips a generation. I even know of a guy who used slag off his brothers kids, then ended up with a few flame haired kids himself...
