We open with Lillian Garcia singing America the Beautiful, then we flip to the opening video, and then we're off to Miami for this year's edition of the Granddaddy Of Them All, Wrestlemania 28!

World Title Match: Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus

Bryan gets a good luck kiss, then turns aroundandcatches a Bro Kick from Sheamus, who covers and gets the three count.

Team Johnny is backstage getting hyped up for tonight's match, and Miz says that losing is not an option. Just like he won the main event of Wrestlemania last night, they're going to win tonight. David Otunga introduces John Laurinaitis, who says that by winning the match tonight, they're going to make Wrestlemania history like when Hogan slammed Andre, like when Austin refused to submit to Bret Hart's Sharpshooter, tonight will become known as the night John Laurinaitis became the GM of both Raw and Smackdown.

Kane vs Randy Orton

Orton fires off on Kane right at the bell and they duke it out in the corner, Kane goozles Orton but Orton fights his way out and beats Kane down and puts the boots to him. Orton trires to do the DDT off the second rope, but Kane elevates Orton onto the top rope and comes in with a big boot to the head. Kane with a snapmare and a basement dropkick for 2, the gets Orton in a rear chinlock. Orton makes it to his feet and they trade blows in the middle of the ring, but Orton comes off the ropes right into a chop to the throat. Kane covers for 2, then gets a side suplex for another 2 count. Orton gets out and gets a neckbreaker for 2, then starts unloading with more right hands. Kane runs Orton into the cornerand gets a delayed vertical suplex for 2. Kane back to the rear chinlock, Orton gets out and counters a side suplex attempt to the over the back backbreaker. Orton with a clothesline, then another one, but Kane stays on his feet so Orton hits a snap powerslam and rams Kane shoulder first into the ringpost. Ortongoes for an RKO, but Kane shoves him off into the ropes and hits a big boot for 2. Kane goes up top and comes off with a clothesline attempt, but Orton dropkicks him on the way down and sets up again for the punt. He charges in, but Kane catches Orton and hits a chokeslam for 2. Kane pummels Orton in the corner with right hands, Orton ducks a clothesline and goes for the RKO, but Orton shoves Kane off into the corner. Kane lands a back elbow and goes to the second rope, but Orton just batters him with right hands and goes up to the second with him. He stops to look out at the fans, but the delay costs him because Kane grabs him by the throat and hits a chokeslam off the second rope for the win.

Winner: Kane

Santino Marella is backstage with Mick Foley and some guy from Deadliest Catch, and Santino promotes a WWE appearance on Deadliest Catch as Foley extolls the virtues of his new low carb diet. Foley puts Mr Socko on, Santino puts on the Cobra sock, and they dig into their crab dinners. Ron Simmons walks in and says "Damn!"

Intercontinental Title Match: Cody Rhodes vs Big Show

Cody bails out to the floor as soon as the bell rings, Show goes after him and Cody rolls back inside and tries a baseball slide, but Show catches him coming out of the ring and press slams him back inside. Show goes back inside and pummels Cody, hits a Beell across the ring, followed by a big bodyslam,and then chops Cody's chest in in the corner. Show with a big ass to Cody's face in the corner, but Cody dodges a charge in the corner and dropkicks his knees out from under him. Show tries to fire back at Cody, but another dropkick to the knee and Show goes back down. Cody fires repeated right hands to the skull of Show and goes for a cover, but Show easily presses him off at 2, so Cody goes back to the knee. I guess Cody has watched tapes of what Ric Flair did to his dad. Cody goes for a boot to the head, but Show catches his foot and fires back with big right hands. Show charges Cody in the corner and runs into Cody's boot, but Cody goes up top and Show grabs him by the throat. Cody grabs Show's hand and drops down to the floor, then comes back in and hits the Beautiful Disaster kick, but Show counters another one with a spear and knocks Cody out with the WMD for the win.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion: Big Show

Sheamus shops at Walmart, and then we see a video of how awesome it is to be a WWE Diva as all the girls talk about how great it is to travel the world and go to red carpet premieres. Then we go to Extra when Maria Menounes interviewed Kelly Kelly about Wrestlemania before Eve and Beth crashed the party and challenged Kelly and Maria to fight them at Wrestlemania.
Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres vs Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos

Eve takes Kelly to the ropes and nails her, but Kelly slides between the legs and hits a Frankensteiner for 2. Eve sends Kelly to the corner, but Kelly ducks out of the way and rams Eve fact first into the corner. She goes for her cartwheel back elbow, but Eve gets the elbow up and goes up top for a moonsault. Kelly nails her and Eve tumbles down to the mat and then Maria tags in so they can give Eve a double stinkface. Beth nails Maria from the outside and Eve chokes Maria on the second rope. Eve gets a bodyscissors and a rear chinlock, then realizes Maria doesn't know how to take a rear chinlock and gives up. She tags out to Beth, who comes in and boots Maria right in the injured ribs before locking her in a side bearhug. Beth drops to hold to knock Kelly off the apron, then tags out to Eve so she can hit the standing moonsault, but Maria kicks Eve out to the floor and crawls over to make the hot tag to Kelly, who comes in and goes after Beth. She knocks Eve off the apron, hits a flying headscissors on Beth, followed by a neckbreaker. Kelly comes off the top rope with a Molly Go Round, but Eve breaks it up at 2. Beth is angry now and goes for the Glam Slam, but Kelly counters to a bulldog. Kelly crawls over to the injured Maria and tags her in, and Maria slowly climbs up top,but takes so much time that Beth comes over and nails her, picks her up in a press slam, but Kelly comes into the ring and spears Beth, allowing Maria to roll up the Divas Champion for the win.

Winners: Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos

The ring announcers informs the crowd that they beat a long standing attendance record in this building by drawing over 78,000 fans to the building, and then Jim Ross comes out to join the announce team for our next match.

Hell In A Cell: Triple H vs Undertaker with special referee Shawn Michaels

Undertaker pulls his hood off to reveal a shaved head and stares Triple H down. They go nose to nose in the middle of the ring and then look up as Metallica plays and the Cell is lowered over the ring, then Shawn calls for the belland we're off. They go toe to toe in the middle of the ring and Undertaker gets the advantage. Undertaker takes Hunter to the corner and pummels him with right and left hands, but Hunter gets a boot to the face when Undertaker charges him in the corner and responds with right and left hands of his own. Undertaker with another flurry of fists and he dumps Hunter out to the floor. Undertaker goes out after Hunter and rams him face first into the ring steps, then Hunter kicks Undertaker and rams him into the cage. Hunter goes for another whip into the cage but Undertaker reverses and Hunter crashes into the steel mesh, then turns around and gets backdropped on the floor. Undertaker with a series of headbutts and then he rams Hunter into the cage again before choking him out against the ring apron. Shawn tries to get Undertaker to back off on Hunter, but Undertaker shoves him off and rams Hunter into the cage again. Undertaker whips Triple H into the ring steps so hard they crash around to the other side of the ring, then rolls Triple H back inside. Triple H reverses a whip to the ropes and nails Undertaker, then gets a facebuster that the Undertaker no-sells, and Undertaker takes Triple H out with another clothesline. Undertaker with the wristlock and he goes to the top rope for Old School, and he nails it. Undertaker dumps Triple H back out to the floor and follows him out, picking up the ring steps and bashing Triple H in the head with them. Undertaker lays Triple H on the ring apron and catches him with a running legdrop. Undertaker brings the steps inside the ring and turns to grab Triple H, but Triple H gets a boot to the gut and a DDT, and just that quickly, the tide turns.

Undertaker goes to reach for the ring steps again, but Triple H stops him and rams him face first into the steps over and over and then goes for the Pedigree on the steps, but Undertaker backdrops him off the steps and onto the canvas. Undertaker with more right hands and now he rams Triple H's face into the steps and comes off the ropes, but Triple H catches him coming in and he hits a spinebuster onto the steps. Triple H goes to grab him and Undertaker catches Hunter in Hell's Gate, which he beat Triple H with last year, but Triple H powers Undertaker up and powerbombs him and then covers for 2. Triple H goes under the ring and gets a steel chairand rams it into Undertaker's ribs, then bashes Undertaker over the back with it. Triple H picks the steps back up and sets them up in the corner and whips Undertaker into them. Triple H dumps the steps out to the floor, then picks the chair back up and nails Undertaker with it over and over until Shawn steps in and tells Hunter to back off. Hunter shoves him out of the way and goes back to demolishing Undertaker with the chair. Hunter yells at Shawn to end it if he wants it over, and Shawn tells him that he knows Undertaker isn't going to quit. Shawn goes to ask Undertaker, but Undertaker shoves him away again, so Triple H with more chairshots and then he tells Shawn to end it or he will. Undertaker tells Shawn not to stop it, so Triple H yells at Undertaker to stay down. Undertaker makes his way to his feet regardless, so Triple H with a chairshot to the midsection and another one over the back, and he covers for 2. Triple H picks the chair back up and nails Undertaker again, and Shawn checks on Undertaker again and Undertaker repeats to Shawn that he doesn't want him to stop it. Triple H goes under the ring and gets the sledgehammer, and Shawn tries to talk sense into him, but Triple H tells him to end it because Triple H will if he won't. Shawn tells Undertaker to please let him ring the bell, but Undertake again shoves him away, so Hunter bashes him in the face with the sledgehammer and makes a cover, but only gets 2. Shawn again tries to tell Hunter to stop, but Hunter shoves him out of the way and tries to bash Undertaker's skull in, but now Shawn grabs the sledgehammer out of his hand and throws it away.

Hunter tells Shawn to end it, and Shawn almost decides to ring the bell, but Undertaker catches Shawn in the Hell's Gate to stop him from ringing the bell. Triple H comes to his best friend's rescue by bashing Undertaker's head in with the sledgehammer. Triple H goes to check on Shawn, then goes after Undertaker, but Undertaker kicks him low and catches Triple H in Hell's Gate. Triple H gets ahold of the sledgehammer, but he drops it. Triple H fades out, but he gets the sledgehammer again...and then fades out and drops the sledgehammer. This was the exact same finish as last year, but this time there's no referee, so the Undertaker is forced to drop the hold. Another referee runs into the Cell to take over as Undertaker chokeslams Triple H, but Hunter kicks out at 2. Undertaker grabs the referee and chokeslams him, then collapses into the ropes from exhaustion. Undertaker picks Triple H up for the Tombstone, but Hunter slips out the back and Shawn suddenly pops up and hits the Sweet Chin Music on Undertaker, followed immediately by Triple H hitting the Pedigree, and Hunter goes for the cover but Undertaker is out at 2.

Triple H has the sledgehammer againand Undertaker is prone on the mat. Shawn tries to shove Hunter back, but Hunter now tosses Shawn out to the floor and then turns around as Undertaker sits up and unloads on Hunter with right hands. Undertaker with a running clothesline in the corner, Snake Eyes, and a big boot. Undertaker with a legdrop and then the Tombstone, and Shawn makes it back into the ring to make the count, but now Triple H is out at 2. Shawn looks completely torn as he sits in the corner watching both men try and get to their feet. Triple H and Undertaker get to their knees and trade blows, then they make it to their feet and continue going toe to toe. Undertaker goes for another Tombstone, but Triple H slips out the back and hits the Pedigree, but Undertaker once again kicks out at 2. Undertaker sits up and grabs a chair as Triple H again gets ahold of the sledgehammer. Undertaker makes it to his feet and steps on the sledgehammer, then bashes Triple H in the skull with the chair, then continues destroying Hunter with repeated chairshots. Now Shawn tries to tell Undertaker to drop the chair, but Undertaker brandishes the chair and drives it into Triple H's ribs before bashing him over the back, then does it again. Shawn tells Undertaker to back off, so Undertaker drops the chair and covers Triple H...for 2.

Shawn pleads with Triple H to stay down, but he still reaches for the sledgehammer as Undertaker slowly stalks him. Triple H tries to drag himself up, but Undertaker blocks the shot with the hammer and looks Triple H right in the eye before pulling the sledgehammer away. Hunter shoves Undertaker off and shakes his head at him, then gives a crotch chop, so Undertaker bashes Triple H in the skull with the sledgehammer, tosses it out of the ring, and stands over Triple H as Shawn looks mournfully out at the crowd. Undertaker pulls the straps down and waits for Triple H to pull himself to his feet, then picks him up for a Tombstone. He hits and makes the cover and Shawn counts 3.

Winner: Undertaker

Both Undertaker and Triple H lie prone in the ring as the Cell raises and Shawn stares down at the both of them with a look of regret. Undertaker sits up and Shawn holds his hand out to Undertaker, and Undertaker reaches out and lets Shawn help him back to his feet where the two men embrace. Shawn raises Undertaker's handand then goes to check on Triple H as fireworks erupt to celebrate Undertaker reaching 20-0 at Wrestlemania. Triple H is still laying on the mat, and now Shawn and Undertaker help him to his feet and help walk him to the back in a great show of respect. All three men stand at the top of the ramp soaking in the cheers and share a hug as we discover that the true most important meaning to come out of this whole situation is that Undertaker 20-0 is trending worldwide on Twitter.

We look at last night's Hall Of Fame induction ceremony, featuring the inductions of Ron Simmons, Yokozuna, Mike Tyson, the Four Horsemen, Mil Mascaras, and Edge. We then see the inductees at the top of the ramp as Howard Finkel introduces them one by one, ending with Edge getting his entrance music for his announcement.

Josh Matthews is backstage hyping tonight's appearance by Flo Rida, but he is interrupted by Heath Slater, who puts himself over as the One Man Southern Rock Band. Flo Rida comes in and Slater suggests that they do a duet. Flo Rida says no, so Slater suggests that he be Flo Rida's DJ and then a backup dancer, but Flo Rida isn't having it. Slater asks what he can do, so Flo Rida says he can hold his mic, and Slater gets ready to get in his face, but Slater straight up launches him into the wall and walks off as Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks come in and make fun of Slater for getting his ass kicked by Flo Rida.

Brie Bella introduces Team Johnny and Nikki Bella introduces Team Teddy for our next match, with everyone of course wearing color coded t-shirts so we morons know whose team everyone is on.

Team Teddy (Santino Marella, Mofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, R-Truth, Booker T & Great Khali) vs Team Johnny (David Otunga, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, Mark Henry & The Miz)

Kofi and Ziggler start us off, Ziggler snapmares Kofi hard and whips him to the corner, but eats boot on a charge and Kofi gets a crossbody out of the corner for 2. Truth tags in and he and Kofi hit a double hiptoss on Ziggler, followed by the dancing legdrop from Truth for 2. Ziggler with a standing dropkick out of nowhere and then he tags out to McIntyre, who quickly gets flattened by Truth with a spinning forearm. Khali tags in and he unloads on McIntyre, ramming him into the corner and bashing him in the chest with a big chop and a clothesline. Booker T comes in and unloads on McIntyre, hitting a back elbow and a thrust kick. Booker with a side suplex for 2, but Otunga nails Booker from the outside. Booker goes through Team Johnny one by one with right hands, but Otunga hangs Booker up on the top rope and then Swagger tags in and covers for 2. Swagger with a snapmare and a top wristlock on Booker as Cole informs us that this is the first 12 man tag in Wrestlemania history. Swagger with a clothesline to Booker for 2, then tags out to Mark Henry, who slams Booker hard and then tags out to the Miz, who rams knees to the skull of Booker before connecting with a kneelift for 2. Miz with a rear chinlock and a suplex attempt, but Booker reverses to a suplex of his own. Ziggler with a big elbowdrop, but Booker kicks out at 2, so Miz tags back in and goes back after Booker with another rear chinlock. Booker fights his way free and hits an ax kick, but Henry comes in and hits the World's Strongest Slam on Booker. Khali comes in and lays Henry out with a chop, Swagger and McIntyre hit a double flapjack on Khali, and all heck continues to break loose with member of Team Johnny getting dumped to the floor before Kingston and Ryder hit stereo dives to the floor. Looks like someone's been watching their Dragon Gate USA DVDs! Oksana goes after Vickie Guerrero, the Bellas get involved, and they roll around on the floor as Booker makes the hot tag to Santino, who comes in and cleans house on Miz. Santino with a hiptoss and then he goes up top and hits a diving headbutt. Santino takes the cobra sock out of his tights, goes after Johnny on the apron, then nails Miz with the Cobra and makes a cover, but Ziggler breaks it up at 2. Ryder tags in and cleans house on Miz and Ziggler, and he goes for the Rough Ryder, but Miz elevates him overhead and he takes out Ziggler instead. Eve gets into the ring with him to do WOO WOO WOO, but Miz comes out of nowhere and hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Ryder and gets the win.

Winners: Team Johnny

Ryder looks mad as he gets up and turns around to look at Eve, who kicks him low and walks off looking real please with herself.

We do the segment where we look at all the places people came from to attend Wrestlemania, all the community stuff the WWE Superstars did over the last week or so in Miami, and all the time everyone in WWE spent on Twitter.

We then go backstage to John Laurinaitis asking CM Punk if he's not celebrating because he has stuff on his mind because of Chris Jericho. He says Punk looks angry and like he wants to go beat Jericho up, but he doesn't want a brawl out there, he wants a wrestling match, so he decides that if Punk loses his temper and gets disqualified, he'll lose his title to Chris Jericho.

WWE Title Match: CM Punk vs Chris Jericho

Okay, so as we just heard, Punk loses the title if he's disqualified here. Nothing like last minute stipulations on the biggest show of the year. They tie up and fight over a rear waistlock, Punk takes Jericho down and tries to go behind, Jericho escapes but Punk sits out and goes behind, then fires forearms into Jericho's face. Punk sends Jericho to the ropes and lands a knee to the midsection, then drills Jericho in the face with knees and stomps in the corner. The referee backs Punk off, and Jericho stands up and slaps Punk in the face, so Punk goes back to stomping Jericho's face out in the corner. Jericho with another pair of slaps and then he backs off to the corner, and Punk again goes after him with right hands and knees before the referee backs him off yet again. Jericho asks Punk how his father is, and that enrages Punk, who traps Jericho's arms and rams elbowsmashes into his face American Dragon-style. Punk with a slam and then he goes up top, but Jericho rolls out to the floor, so Punk adjusts and hits a clothesline to the floor. Jericho asks Punk how his sister is, so Punk grabs a chair from ringside and chases Jericho into the ring with it, but catches himself at the last second. He stands there holding the chair over his head as Jericho yells at him that his father's a drunk and his sister's a drug addict, but Punk tosses the chair aside and gives Jericho an opening to hit a dropkick from the second rope.

Now Jericho has the advantage and rams kneestrikes into Punk and then catches him with a running back elbow. They go out to the apron and Punk goes for GTS on the outside, but Jericho slips out and clotheslines Punk into the ring, then picks him up and suplexes him out to the floor, and Punk takes it full on in a cringe-inducing moment. Jericho hits a running punt to Punk's ribs, then quickly rolls him inside and covers him for 2. Jericho with elbowdrops to Punk's ribs and then gets a double underhook backbreaker, a move Punk used many times in his pre-WWE days to welcome people to Chicago, but that only gets 2 for the challenger. Jericho gets a rear chinlock and Punk fights his way out, but Jericho catches him in a spinning backbreaker for 2 and then kicks him in the back and follows up with a senton for a two count. Punk again fires back with right and left hands and tries a crossbody off the top rope, but Jericho grabs Punk by the tights and yanks him down onto the back of his head. Jericho covers and gets 2, then traps Punk in a standing surfboard. Punk mulekicks his way out, then uses Jericho's momentum against him off a bulldog attempt by ramming him into the corner. Punk has the momentum and starts firing back with chops and kicks, a leg lariat, a clothesline, and a neckbreaker for 2. Punk with a running high knee in the corner and then comes out with a bulldog attempt, but Jericho shoves him off and goes for a Lionsault, Punk tries to get the knees up, but Jericho blocks and goes right into the Liontamer, and Punk escapes that and gets a high kick to the head for 2. Punk with a slam and then he goes to the top rope and goes for the Macho elbow, but Jericho gets the knees up and hits a Codebreaker that sends Punk spilling out to the floor.

Jericho goes out and gets Punk and rolls him back into the ring, but Punk gets the Go To Sleep out of nowhere and slowly crawls over to make the cover, but takes too long and Jericho is able to get his foot on the bottom rope. Punk unloads with more kicks, then catches Jericho with a snap powerslam for 2. Jericho escapes a suplex attempt and dumps Punk gut first onto the top rope, then hits the Lionsault for 2. Jericho fires forearms into Punk's unprotected head and then goes up top, but Punk makes it to his feet and unloads on Jericho, even pulling out the legendary Mongolian chop. Punk goes to the top rope and goes for a Frankensteiner, but Jericho holds onto him on the way to the mat and goes right into the Walls Of Jericho. Punk is trapped right in the center of the ring, but fights his way to the ropes and forces the break. Jericho protests with the referee, then charges Punk and gets backdropped to the floor. Punk hits a dive through the ropes and wipes out Jericho, then connects with the running high knee against the ringpost. Punk rolls Jericho back into the ring and goes for a springboard move back in, but Jericho catches him coming in with a Codebreaker and makes the cover, but Punk is out at 2. Punk goes for the GTS another couple of times, but Jericho fights his way out and shoves Punk into the corner and unloads with a running forearm to the back of the head and a kick to the ribs. Jericho goes back to the top rope, but takes too long and Punk hits a leaping enziguiri. Punk carries Jericho out to the middle of the ring, yells "BEST IN THE WORLD!" and goes for the GTS, but Jericho blocks and gets Punk in the Liontamer. Punk doesn't tap, so Jericho turns it into the full Walls Of Jericho, and Punk fights to get to the ropes, but Jericho drags him back out to the middle of the ring. Punk slips out and counters to a small package, Jericho counters to a small package of his own for 2, and Punk counters that to the Anaconda Vice, Jericho uses the hair to roll Punk to his back for 2, but Punk counters back to the Anaconda Vice and Jericho uses kneestrikes to escape and go back to the Walls Of Jericho. Punk tries to punch and kick his way out and finally succeeds and goes back to the Anaconda Vice and Jericho is finally forced to tap out.

Winner: CM Punk

Jericho looks mad as Punk celebrates and shouts out once again that he is the Best In The World.

We visit with the pilots who did the fly-by of the arena with fireworks as Lillian Garcia sang earlier in the evening, and then...SOMEBODY CALL MY MAMA! Brodius Clay comes out to tell us that we're gonna do something special tonight, he wants everyone to get out their phones because WE GONNA CALL OUR MAMAS! Brodius calls his mama on the phone and says we at Wrestlemania and he wishes she was here to see all this greatness...but wait a minute, she is here! Brodius introduces Mama Clay, and his mama comes out with a giant fake ass to dance with Brodius and the girls. As if that wasn't good enough, a whole bunch of other people's fat mamas comes out and dances with their giant fake asses as well.

Before our main event, WWE drives home John Cena's entire issue with the Rock as we see a commercial for the new GI Joe movie, starring the Rock. We see the video packages with the history between John Cena and the Rock, and then it's MAIN EVENT TIME!

Puff Daddy comes out to introduce MGK, who performs the Wrestlemania 28 theme song and gets booed out of the building, and then John Cena makes his entrance and gets booed out of the state. Flo Rida comes out to perform the other Wrestlemania theme song. Finally, the Rock comes out to a thunderous ovation from his adopted hometown, and we're off!
Once In A Lifetime: John Cena vs The Rock

Michael Cole notes that not only is this Rock's first Wrestlemania appearance in eight years, but also his first singles match in nearly nine. They tie up, and Cena shoves Rock off. Rock pauses for a moment to consider his options as we have dueling "let's go Cena" and "Cena sucks" chants, then they tie up again and Cena now gets shoved off, and stops to smile like an idiot before going back to circling Rock. Rock with a side headlock, then they trade wristlocks, Rock rolls through and whips Cena to the ropes and gets a series of armdrags and La Magistral cradle for 2. Cena backs off and looks bewildered, but adjusts his armbands and goes back to getting headlocked by Cena. Cena shoves Rock off to the ropes, Rock takes Cena down with a shoulderblock, but Cena comes back with a hiptoss and takes Rock down with a side headlock. Rock makes it back to his feet and shoves Cena off to the ropes, Cena gets a boot to the head, and Rock cracks him with a right hand. Cena gets flustered and charges Rock, but Rock takes him down with a double leg and Cena bails to the floor to a round of boos. Cena tries to shoulderblock through the ropes coming back in, but Rock sidesteps Cena and kicks him hard in the chest.

Cena finally catches a break as he rams Rock into the corner and charges in with shoulderblock to the midsection a couple of times, then runs him over with a clothesline and covers, but only gets 1. Cena gets a laying bearhug, and keeps the hold as Rock gets back to his feet and punches Cena in the face until he breaks the hold. Rock charges Cena, but Cena ducks and pulls down the top rope, sending Rock tumbling out to the floor. Cena goes out after Rock and drops him chest first onto the barricade, then picks him back up and does the same thing onto the announce table. Cena kicks Rock in the ribs and rolls him back inside to cover for a 2 count, then waits for Rock to get back to his feet so he can drill him in the skull with a big right hand. Cena plants Rock with a belly to belly suplex for 2, Rock fires back with right hands, but Cena shoots Rock to the ropes and catches him coming back in a bearhug. Rock tries to fight his way free, but Cena cinches up on the bearhug and Rock again screams in agony. Rock finally manages to punch his way free and hits a quick DDT for 2.

Cena tries unloading with a flurry of punches on Rock, but Rock starts firing back, hits a flying clothesline and a spinebuster, and goes for the People's Elbow. Cena grabs the ankle and tries countering to the STF, but Rock escapes so Cena hits a Blue Thunder Driver and does You Can't See Me and hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Instead of going for the cover, he waits for Rock to regain his footing and picks him up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Rock slips out and a double clothesline leaves both men laying.

Both men get back to their feet and they trade blows in the middle of the ring, but Cena ducks a big bomb and hits the Attitude Adjustment. Cena goes for a cover, but Rock is out at 2. Cena picks Rock up, but Rock hits a Rock Bottom out of nowhere and covers for a 2 count. Rock unloads on Cena with kicks and elbows in the corner, but Cena reverses a whip into a side suplex for 2. Cena rolls out to the apron and climbs to the top rope, waits for Rock to regain his feet, and hits the top rope Fameasser, but he still only manages to get 2. Cena goes for another Attitude Adjustment, Rock slips out and picks the legs, and gets Cena in the Sharpshooter. Cena makes the ropes, so Rock pulls him back out to the middle of the ring and tries to reapply, and he is successful. Rock seems to kind of lose the hold, and Cena manages to get back to the ropes and roll out to the apron. Rock goes out to the floor and pounds on Cena as he's straddled out on the apron, and Cena finally tumbles completely out to the floor. Rock whips Cena into the ring steps, and Cena is in a bad way as Rock picks him up and smashes his face into the steps a second time. Rock puts Cena back on the apron and rolls inside, and Cena gets a sunset flip over the top rope and rolls Rock right into the STF. Cena screams at Rock to tap, but Rock still manages to crawl toward the ropes. Cena drags Rock back out to the middle of the ring and goes back into the STF on Rock, and Rock starts to fade out. The referee checks the arm, but the Rock stays alive and manages to drag himself to the ropes and force the break.

Cena crawls over to the ropes to try and regain some strength, but staggers back over to the Rock and walks right into a Samoan drop. Rock unloads on Cena with right hands, Cena fires back, Cena blocks the Rock Bottom, Rock blocks the Attitude Adjustment, and then Rock hits the spinebuster and he hits the People's Elbow. Rock covers, but Cena again manages to kick out at 2. Rock gets back to his feet and picks Cena up, and Cena gets a quick small package for 2. Crowd is split for both men as Cena tackles Rock and catapults him into the top turnbuckle and rolls him up for 2. Cena hauls Rock back to his feet and drives him back into the corner, then sits him on the top rope. Cena goes up and tries for a superplex, but Rock fights Cena off and tosses him into the middle of the ring. Rock is exhausted, but digs deep and comes off the top with a crossbody. Cena rolls through, powers Rock up into the Attitude Adjustment, and covers for a very close 2. Crowd is going nuts as they thought that was it. Cena slowly gets to his feet, goes to do You Can't See Me, but gets booed by the crowd, so he stops and sets Rock up, throws his armband into the crowd and goes for the People's Elbow, but runs right into the Rock Bottom and Rock covers him for the win.

Winner: The Rock

Cena sits on the entrance ramp looking like someone just stole his girlfriend as Rock's music plays and the real top star in WWE celebrates in the ring. That's what happens when you try to be a smartass! Fireworks are going off as Rock raises his fist to the crowd in victory and we go off the air.

Taker/HHH was incredible, as expected, Rock Cena was solid but the entrances ruined the beginning, Punk/Jericho was pretty flat. the rest was sh1te. Still cant believe Sheamus/Bryan went that way, cant have two promising talented guys taking up space where dancing grannies and Flo Rida concerts are eh.

So average it was sad. I guess I was hoping for a good Bryan-Sheamus match at least but we didn't even get that. Looking back it is probably what ruined the PPV for me. They couldn't even make it last 20 seconds. Of all matches to cut shirt too.

HHH-Taker was great. If they bow out on that they can be proud of that effort. The most entertaining match by far.

Cena-Rock was OK and Jericho-Punk was disappointing in my opinion as I thought it would be a show-stealer.

The rest was fairly meh.

Well Bryan/Sheamus getting a cameo sucked most of my good will out of the first hour. Which was unfortunately where half of the night's card was. Same with the crowd it seemed.

I thought, if it came to a quick match, it would be Rhodes getting punched out in seconds.

Liked the music to be honest but my favourite parts of the night were all character moments: HBK's angst, Y2J pulling Punk's hair to reverse the Anaconda Vice and Cena's shock face when Rock rolled through the arm wrench.

And Rock/Cena finish wasn't a pleasant surprise. Like last year's Miz/Cena match.

Gave it a four, was pleasantly surprised by HHH/Taker, thought it was a bit of a borefest last year but this one was incredible, absolutely loved it.

Punk/Jericho was a bit meh, slow start and slow middle but I enjoyed the end.

Rock/Cena I hate Cena and was delighted the rock won, especially for nostalgia reasons, but it wasn't good enough for all the hype, once in a lifetime my fúck.


The rest was either meh or below meh, cutting sheamus/bryan short for funkmaster clay dancing was a load of shíte and machine gun kelly should be strangled with his chains.

I gave it a five but take out HIAC and it'd have been a two. Jericho vs Punk was good, but nothing else was worth the effort of staying up. Rock vs Cena at a huge stretch.

6/10, Very entertaining show with the usual crap matches. Lack of run ins in any of the big matches was disappointing. No real use of the surroundings in Hell in a Cell though the match its self was a classic. I look forward to Raw to see how all of this plays out.

What were people expecting from Rock vs Cena that could have made it better? Thought it was great myself and Taker vs HHH was great as well.

Was watching with friends and we all cheered when Sheamus won after a few seconds!! But looking back I can't believe they didn't have a match. Take out the Brodus Clay thing (even if it was funny, it could have been on Raw instead) and Sheamus - Bryan could at least have had a ten minute match.

I gave it an 8/10.

For a wrestlemania it was pretty good.

As Wrestlemania can be **** despite the build up every year.

Rock and Cena was my favourite match.
Mainly because I was shocked by the ending, I thought Cena had it won at one point.
I loved the old school wrestling parts at the start and the pretend pass out from the Rock when he was in the STF.
They pulled out a number of Nostalgia moments which was exactly what the match needed considering it was the Rocks return. The crowd enjoyed it and the character moments were really well done.

The ending was perfect with Cena getting Cocky and Rock laying him out all of a sudden.

HHH v Taker
Was a False Finish fest!
The biggest compliment I can say it is I though HHH had it won a couple of times.

It was brutal looking at times as any cell match should be. They really appeared to want to hurt one another. Mayne even kill one another.

But the sheer number of false finished had me feeling a little numb by the end. The way they were all hugging at the end made no sense based on the match as why would you do some of the things they did to each other if there was no hate there? Made no sense to me. So I had to deduct a point.

Punk v Jericho
All the best stuff was robbed from them in the above matches.
The crowd wasn't into it after the brutality of HHH v Taker. They did what they could with what was left. The Jeri-trolling was brilliant at the start. They went on to hit all their signature moves and build towards a finish. Some of the counters in the match were excellent and the ending even took it up a notch again.

Bryan v Sheamus.
Terrible opener imo. I guess they had nothing left for them after the other three matches ahead of them in the pecking order took all the good ****!

It was a really disappointing way to start the PPV. Especially when you consider all the hard work that went into building Bryan by people on Smackdown. Show and Henry must be wondering why they wasted all that time building him up.

Missed half the PPV, but for what I seen I enjoyed it Except the Brotus stuff, man that gets on my nerves.

I personally like that fact that "he who rises above hate" has finally fallen victim to the great one. They have the start of what could be an interesting story to tell if they risk it, make cena doubt himself, not rise above, even go on a losing streak so as he can make his comeback against the rock at WM29 to try regain the confidence he had and help him rise above again.

Knowing WWE this won't happen, but we can all fantasy book

Sheamus vs Bryan: What can you say, I said in the live thread that I thought that it was worse than what happened them last year & I stand by that.
Jericho vs Punk: Didn't get going for a long time the finish was grand but while I want to see this rivalry continue I don't want Jericho in a big title match at Mania again.
Cena vs Rock: Not a great match nor a good enough main event. Them trying to recreate the X8 face off was such a fake moment even the kids seen it, Cole then saying Cena had him at the end shows that (A) cole sucks at his job and (B) the match didn't achieve what it was meant to do so much that Cole had to point it out. The concert was tedious to sit through to say the least.
Taker vs HHH: Ok at times it was no sell in a cell but it was a great match with a touching moment at the end.

The rest of it was time filler & boring filler at that. Brodus Clay dancing with the Grannies in fat suits was a spit in the face of the paying audience.

Excellent mania. anyone bashing the jericho/punk match is crazy imo, of course it was slow paced but there were some great bursts of action and most importantly it told a great story. A lot like Taker/HHH last year in slow pace yet that was an amazing match.

HIAC spoiled us a little because of how outrageously good it was and people aren't putting the rest of the event in perspective. Really the only bad matches were Orton/Kane(i'm putting that down to circumstance, Barrett would have worked a lot better for example), Bryan/Sheamus(cheers vince, you've done a great job devaluing the Royal Rumble there. Match was as good as it was pushed) and the predictable diva borefest.

Gimmick tag match was enjoyable at the very least and as good as the standard WM gimmick match gets. Jericho v Punk and Rock v Cena were excellent matches. Rock v Cena wasn't as outright good a match as HIAC in any way but it was generation defining in the same way as Rock's WM encounters with Hogan and Austin.

Im not talking too much about HIAC simply because it won my award of "best match that my crap laptop crashed in the middle of" so i only caught the second half of it. Need to watch it again to take it in. The fact that i missed half of it and thought it was ****ing unbelievable anyways says it all.

Haven't regularly watched wrestling in 10 years but still tune in for WM and the odd PPV. Therefore I was only watching tonight really for the main events and in my mind they delivered. My goosebumps had goosebumps watching the HHH/Taker match, especially the conclusion, fúcking rockstars each one of those guys, Michaels included.

It was my first time laying eyes on CM Punk, I like him and his style. I was never Jericho's biggest fan, always found his reputation to outshine his actual ability. They did put together a decent match though.

As for the main main event, there was no way it was ever going to live up to the hype after being built up for almost a year. Fair play to the Rock, he showed no signs of ring rust and him and Cena meshed well. Although I was looking for a Rock victory I am very surprised that he got the win. Good match, though it could have been great with the inclusion of a certain signature move through a certain piece of furniture used by commentators of a certain ethnicity! Yes there were parts of the match that went to a slump, but what match doesn't?

Oh, that's right, the Sheamus/Bryan match didn't get the chance to reach a slump. That was an effing disgrace. I remember years ago when winning the Royal Rumble meant something big and guaranteed you a title shot at Mania, you would be on the front cover of the WM dvd/vhs when it was released. Yes Sheamus got his shot and won, but it was nothing short of a farce and a disgrace to him and Bryan the way it was done. Then they give some of the least accessible music acts on the planet today some genuine screen time. FFS this is American Pro-Wrestling, if you're gonna have a music act have John Mellancamp or Bob Seger come on and rock the shop for 5 minutes, even the DX band from years ago would have been a massive improvement. It's a shame, because it's non-wrestling stuff like that (along with the fluctuation of 'comedy/entertainment' segments) that led to my disinterest in something I once thought I'd love for life. I guess I'm just a guy longing for the good old days, and tonight thanks to HHH/Michaels/Taker/Rock I got them

P.S. A further note on the Sheamus match. The only reason I knew he won this year's Royal Rumble was because of the widespread coverage it got in the Irish media. A lot of Irish 'in the past but not anymore' wrestling fans would have read those articles like myself and maybe would have tuned in tonight just to see their fellow countryman kick some ass. I imagine anyone who actually bought the PPV tonight for this reason is/was seriously pissed off. Truely farcical and lazy booking from Vince and co.

P.P.S. I was watching Mania on the laptop and had the TV on in the background. When the HHH/Taker/HBK friendship display was happening on the laptop, the death scene in Micheal Collins was going down on the tv, such an unexpected amalgamation of emotions!!!

P.P.P.S. Better head for the bed now. The woman will be wondering what kept me up so late, might just tell her I was watching gay porn or Fair City omnibus or something:D

If Vince hadn't decided to pull an april fools joke in the Bryan/Sheamus match, this would be getting a 9 or a 10 and a strong contender for the best Mania ever.

Even still, its well up there because of how good the main events were. 1 EPIC match and two class ones get this its 8 on it's own, though Cody and Show and the 12 man tag match hardly hurt it either.

Bryan has been booked as the cowardly and dastardly heel champ who would use his own girlfriend as a shield over the last few months.
And then you have Sheamo, a guy who they are pushing to the moon and getting a very strong and steady push, any matches he has lost over the last while that made him look weak have been very slim.
Having him go over like that made sense in the way they have been building the two of them. Sure, they could have had a 5star match but i can look past it all when it makes sense with what they have been doing for the last few months.
Had that have have happened in a match where the champion and challenger were credible contenders then i would be more empathetic to some peoples opinions.

HIAC was special, Punk and Y2J enjoyable, Rock Cena was never going to live up to the hype but they didn't fair too badly at all. The rest of the show was distinctly underwhelming.

Also was it just me or was the pyro malfunctioning? I felt the shows production in general was below the standard I'd associate for Mania.

How many times has Ric Flair and others played the cowardly heel? Plenty, but I've never seen them booked like that, they've always been booked as serious threats in spite of their spineless actions.

Ah it was ok but not what it could have been. HHH/Taker was special no doubt. Did enjoy Y2J/Punk even if the fans were not into it until the very end. Rock and Cena was ok. Did pop for the finish. What happened to Bryan was a disgrace, he must be wondering if it is worth it. Rest of the card was really a washout. 5/10 for me.

I'll give it 5/10.

I thought it started out poor but improved as it went on.

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan: Was a joke. I was happy with the result but expected a match. I would forgive it if was down to Bryan being injured but if that was how they originaly planned to kick start it then that was very poor.

Kane vs Orton: Was an ok match IMO. I was surprised Kane won but wasn't unhappy with the result. I didn't think the atmosphere was great for this match.

The Big Show vs Cody Rhodes: Straight forward match with an obvious result. Bit of a miss match TBH.

Diva tag team match:Woeful stuff. Maria Menounos is not a wrestler and it she made it damn obvious. I was never expecting much with a Diva's match but this was poorer than expected.

The Undertaker vs HHH: This was a great match despite Shaun Michaels inclusion. I thought this match defiantly matched the hype with both superstars benefiting from Shaun's interference. The entrances were great but i thought last years were better, especially HHH's entrance.

Team Johnny vs Team Teddy: Standard stuff again. Short enough match with the right result as i am sick of Teddy long. Just another run of the mill match with nothing spectacular.

CM Punk vs Jericho: Good match but was expecting more. It was a bit flat at times but i liked the back and fourth with submissions and Jericho's trolling at the start. Perfect match up IMO but didn't deliver fully.

The Rock vs Cena: This was a good match but in no way lived up to it's hype. I always had the feeling The Rock would win, especially with it being in Miami. I would of watched The Rock when i was younger so was glad to see him win although he wont be seen again for ages. The performances at the start ruined the entrances for me, no need for that **** music and it just fu*ked things up.

Mick Foley and Santino eating the crabs with the Deadliest Catch fisherman wasn't funny and Brotis Clay dancing with those granny's was ridiculous IMO.

All in all it was pretty average stuff for me. It wasn't the worst or the best event i have ever seen. Wrestle Mania 28 did not live up to the hype.

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan: As it was, I thought it was an absolute joke and set the theme of pretty poor time management and booking decisions that we would see throughout the night. I think they were probably stuck for time and had 3 choices...drop it from the card (unacceptable), give it 15-20 minutes it deserved or make it a squash. Unbelievably they chose the third option. Go Sheamus etc. 1/10

Kane vs Orton: Decent match but crowd were pretty annoyed by the WHC match. They were chanting "let's go Bryan" at one stage. I'm really tired of Ortons gimmick. Give me cocky, smug, suit-wearing Orton any day. 3/10 (mainly because of an unexpected finish.)

The Big Show vs Cody Rhodes: Better than expected and I really enjoyed Codys work. Happy for Big Show that he wins a title at WM. Would like to see Cody push on to a world title. 5/10

Diva tag team match: Awful. 1/10. Divas > WHC.

The Undertaker vs HHH: Absolutely incredible. It was everything I was hoping it would be and more. I won't retype everything that has already been said about the match. HHH knows when to lie down when it's in the best interest of the company (unlike someone else later). Superb final segment with Taker dragging HHH to his knees before doing the throatcut. Michaels was so unpredictable and made a great contribution. 10/10.

Team Johnny vs Team Teddy: Nothing special, and I didn't care so long as the right result occured. And it did. 3/10

CM Punk vs Jericho: I really enjoyed this, and Jericho's trolling was classic. However, I felt they could have pushed it even more. Very enjoyable. 8/10

Funkasaurus Segment/Flo-Rida/MGK: This took up 15 minutes directly before the most anticipated WM main event in history. This deprived us of a WHC match. Whoever though the Funkasaurus segment was worthy of WM time should be shot. Too much music and it seemed very disjointed to play the entrance directly after the music ended. Massive opportunity missed. They should have played the 3-min segments showing what it meant to each man to win.

The Rock vs Cena: Absolutely godawful workup to the match. I am here to watch Rock vs Cena not artists I have no interest in. I thought it was a very generic match which followed a predictable flow. Never thought any man was in danger of being pinned. However, I've already said it, I felt it was a disgrace not to put John Cena over the Rock. It's bad for business. I felt Rock was sandbagging alot of his moves, especially the two times Cena dropped him on the barricade. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fcuking huge Rocky fan, but it made zero sense for a part time wrester/actor beat the top guy completely clean. 5/10


If you take away HIAC, it was a pretty poor Wrestlemania. 4/10

I went for 7. The HITC was one of the greatest matches I've ever seen. Worth the e22 on it's own. Punk Jericho was slow to build but got there. Cena and Rock didn't live up to the hype, but not sure it could have. The ending was good.

The rest was pretty average at best. The first match was a joke, I wanted to see DB get pummelled a lot. Can't remember a single element of Orton V Kane. Divas, whatever. Tag team - no clue who actually pinned Zack for the win. Big Show Cody also forgettable.

Pros
Taker vs HHH was epic. Not as spotfesty as previous Taker matches. Just a great story told by three vets, with a brilliant ending visual.
Cena vs Rock was decent, even if there were bits that dragged (Did anyone believe Cena or Rock would tap out?). The ending was great in that it gives Cena's character somewhere new and fresh to go....even though we know he'll laugh it off tonight.

Cons
Bryan vs Sheamus was horrible. Talk about killing a crowd in match one; I've watched it twice now, and the crowd seemed really up for the match. The reaction Bryan was getting was on par with Cena/Rock and Taker/HHH. It showed the crowd were pumped for a big event...and the match killed them. It took them 90 minutes to get the crowd back to that level. You telling me they couldn't have shaved off a minute or two in other matches, or dropped the Clay segment which served NO purpose? Give the two of them even 3 minutes to just kill each other and then have a shock, quick win? What a horrible, horrible idea to open a show. Even if it had been stuck in the middle of the card, it would have been better.

Stadium: Ramp was very bland and you could see the stadium had alot of empty seats early on. Also the timing meant it wasnt porperly dark til Taker's match. Needs to be indoors, roll on WM30 in The Garden

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan: Really? you build up a match with the future of your business and end it in 18 seconds? I was so tempted to switch off there and then, as I imagine alot of people did. What's worse is the segments later in the show that "replaced" it.

Kane vs Orton: An okay match, but made Kane look too weak, Orton was able to boss him too easily considering the size difference. Reasonably happy with the result, chance to take Orton down a different path, he's getting too stale and repetitive over the last year.

Foley, Santino & Simmons: Bit cringeworthy, but worth it just for the DAMN!

The Big Show vs Cody Rhodes: Average at best, never made you feel there could be any result that a Big Show win. Hopefully Rhodes gets a fued with Sheamus now, he deserves it.

Diva tag team match: As boring as any divas match usually is, but at least Maria Mentos did more than most celebs do in these matches.

The Undertaker vs HHH: Should have been on last and saved the show from absolute failure. Bit slow getting going, but when it did it was as good as anything I've seen in the last decade. Petered out again a bit though, but finish was nice, thank god he used the tombstone to finish it, and not hell's gate. JR on commentary was a nice extra touch, hope he comes back full time

Team Johnny vs Team Teddy: Felt alot more like a RAW/Smackdown match (especially the whole Eve thing), cluster**** of everyone hitting their spots to clear the ring so predictable. Team Johnny had to win for the storyline, but hate that it was Miz that got the pin, he needs to be future endeavoured rather than pushed imo.

CM Punk vs Jericho: Good solid match, but the stip kinda ruined it, coz it pretty much told you the result. Shame to kill a feud that with a DQ win for Jericho but Punk retaining could have set things up nicely.

Brodus: Total embarrassment to wrestling fullstop. A spit in the face to every Sheamus/Bryan fan.

The Rock vs Cena: The songs before each entrance were like ear-rape, are the WWE that bad for money that they have to throw in music like that just before a WM main event?
Match was very meh, they built it up like Hogan/Rock, but was more like Hogan/Sting.
At least Rock won, it Cena had gone over clean I'd have given up on WWE completely.

4/10 (most of that for Taker V Trips) but I won't be staying up to watch any more PPVs if that's what we get

Bryan/Sheamus: The cowardly heel was destroyed in seconds. While I wanted a match and they could have scrapped other segments, it still kinda works for me.

Kane/Orton: It was what it was. Didn't expect Kane to get the win so that was a nice suprise. Simple payday for the two of them though.

Cody/Show: Cheered Big Show for years. Enjoyed seeing how much it meant to him to win at Wrestlemania.

Divas match: I was on my phone, waiting for the popcorn to finish.

Taker/HHH: Worth the price and more on its own. Amazing story told. If we never saw HHH/Taker/HBK again, that was the perfect end.

Team Teddy/Team Long: Was expecting a Teddy win. Three person flip to the outside was awesome. Why the **** did nobody stop Eva after she castrated Ryder!?

Punk/Jericho: Great match with some great spots.

Funkasaraus segment: I don't care what anyone says. That was hilarious and I loved it.

Cena/Rock: Couple of areas where I was checking my phone while waiting for holds to end. Still loved the back and forth, crowd really added to it. I was actually cheering for Cena here, but as time went on you could tell a Cena win would lead to a bad boo-filled ending to Mania.

Gave it 9/10 because at no point was I really bored or critical of a match. I enjoyed myself the whole way through, and thats what matters to me really.

Sheamus Vs Daniel Bryan World Heavyweight Championship- What a f*cking disgrace of a World title match. I can understand when they do it to a lesser title like I.C/US or ECW title but when they do it for a world title I just can't believe i'm watching this sh!t. It's bad enough that the fued as a whole was crap, I thought they'd make up for it with the match but I was wrong. What a waste of a Royal Rumble win as well.

Match Rating 0/10, if you could even call it a match.

Kane Vs Randy Orton- Was decent for what it's worth, I mean I wasn't expecting a classic or anything but I suppose it is what it is. Plus I thought Kane going over was really unexpected. At least I can rub it in all the fans faces who thought Kane was a jobber now and saying that he is was being buried by Cena and Orton.

Match Rating 5/10, Average being decent

Big Show Vs Cody Rhodes Intercontinental Championship- I didn't really like it tbh, maybe it's because of my bias against Big Show but I didn't really get into tbh. But I suppose it allowed Big Show his big wrestlmania moment if you could even call it that. I guess this means that Cody Rhodes will be getting a push to the main event soon now that he's no longer champion.

Match Rating 4/10 Some might think I'm being unfair but I didn't enjoy it

Divas Tag Match- Same as ever with a divas match, was never going to live up to standard and for good reason as well, when you have to resort to Kelly Kelly doing most of the work for her team, then you know the situation is dire. I heard Maria injured herself which might explain why she seemed hurt at the end, or maybe she's just a good seller.

Match Rating 0/10 couldn't even beat Sheamus and Bryan's 10 second blunder:D

Undertaker Vs Triple III Hell IN A Cell Streak Match- I notice a lot of people are praising this match. But I'm going to have to play the role of Mr Negative and say that I wasn't overly impressed with it. Maybe I just have high expectations after watching the last 3 manias but I really thought that this match didn't live up to the hype, and here why. (1) What the hell was HBKand HHH doing throughout the match. You had HBK trying to stop HHH from using the chair one minute, then superkicking Undertaker next minute. THEN, HHH kept telling HBK to call the match. I mean seriously c'mon that's really bad storytelling if you ask me. It's a Hell in A Cell, it's meant to be barbaric. I don't remember anyone asking Mankind to give up when he was thrown off the cell in 1998, or tossed through to the cell in 2000. I just don't think it made sense, since the last couple of weeks they were both talking about ending the streak. (2) No use of the Cell or the enviornment. As I said, it's a HIAC, it's supposed to be barbaric, Taker and HHH should have been ripping each other apart and taking advantage of the environment, but not once did I actually see them use the cage. Not something I expected in a HIAC. (3) Didn't care for the finish to the match. I was expecting a lot of near falls and old school stuff, but the match finished real abructly I thought. I would have liken to have seen HHH kick out of the Thombstone or something. (4) Undertaker helping HHH up the ramp. Ok I know they have respect for each other, but this is Undertaker we're talking about. He's not supposed to show that type of emotion for someone, i'd have rather he just left the ring and let HBK help HHH up the ramp on his own. I just thought it was out of character, and if Taker could do that then I suppose the dramatic send off I always wanted for Taker where he does his kneeling taunt, the place goes dark and he disappears if out of the question.

Match Rating 7/10, despite my negative review of the match, I do think it was good. Their in ring work was good and there was good emotion during the match as well. Certainly nothing compared to the last 3 but I can sleep happy now, knowing that Taker is 20-0.

Team Teddy Vs Team Johnny Ace- I never expect match for tag matches like these. I remember last year we had The Corre Vs Kane, Big Show, Kofi Kingston and Santino and it was only 20 seconds long or something. But yeah these matches always tend to suck as Mania. The only good thing about the match is the fact that John Laurnitis won which mean we get to see more of Mr Excitment:D.

Match Rating 4/10, I could go lower but I did actually like some moments in the match.

Chris Jericho Vs CM Punk WWE Championship- Best match of the night I thought, real good work for both guys and I guess CM Punk get's his proper Wrestlmania moment. His last Wrestlmanias have always had him either losing or winning Money In The Banks. But to have a great match and leave WWE Champ is a real cool is better by comparison.

Matching Rating 9/10, Am I rating this too high? when I think of great I think of 4 star type matches but I'm not sure if this even meets the requirments. But I suppose rating a match out of stars and numbers is different, especially since my ratings are out of 10. But by WWE PG Era standards the match was great anyway.

The Rock Vs John Cena- I thought the match was very good. Both men put a lot of heart into it, and I really liked the fact that The Rock beat Cena.The term humbled could not be used better when talking about Cena. But yeah I liked the match, and it was certainly one of the best matches at Mania 28 which was hard tbh. As far as Main Events go, it was far far better then last year's lack luster performance. BTW Who the hell was that skinny white rapper that "Diddy" introduced? I'm not a fan of Flo Rida either so both performance were sh!t.

Matching Rating 8/10, Very Good as I said but not better or equal to Punk/Jericho so can't rate any higher and I wouldn't anyway.

Overall Review. It was better then last years that's for sure. But it still wasn't impressive for me. The last two years have shown how low WWE have sunk as far as booking Wrestlmania goes. WWE are just not giving us our money's worth as far as promoting goes. Word of advice for Vince. If you're wondering why your product is so sh!t, don't look at the Wrestlers look at yourself and the guys who book this sh*t because you're starting to make TNA's booking team look like geniouses. Not that i'm complaining tbh:D.

They used the cell a lot at the start each guy being thrown into the cell and it played its part in not allowing anyone escape when they needed a breather. I'm 90% sure Triple H kicked out of the tombstone at one point around the middle!

Really? Maybe they did, I must have forgotten but I still think more could have been done though. As for the thombostone, when the match is put up on youtube, I'll have to check it out again.

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan: Myself and my friends were watching it and cheering on Sheamus and we went crazy when he won so quickly so was a nice moment but still didn't make up for the lack of a match. I'd say Bryan will be blaming his defeat on A.J.

Kane vs Orton: Thought it was decent, delighted to see Kane win.

The Big Show vs Cody Rhodes: Nice moment for the Big Show, decent match.

Diva tag team match: Felt sorry for how injured Maria was, awful match overall.

The Undertaker vs HHH: Amazing, incredible match and JR made all the difference on commentary as well. None of the current generation will ever put on matches like this.

Team Johnny vs Team Teddy: Was ok, thought the ending didn't really have anything to do with the Johnny/Teddy feud which was disappointing after such a big buildup. A lot more interaction involving the two GMs could have made this a lot more entertaining. Really wanted to see Santino hit the Cobra on Laurinitis, even if only after the match.

CM Punk vs Jericho: Enjoyed this match. Was as good as I expected.

The Rock vs Cena: The songs ruined the buildup. Amazing match and delighted the Rock won!

Being difficult I give it a 7.5 as it was far better than last year. I really don't know what people ****ting on the show expect where and from what era of Wrestling did you form this standard? There has been more Wrestlemania 28s than 17s in the history of the show.

Can you say with any confidence that Brian will be involved in as big a profile match as that again? I'd be fairly confident with Sheamus now that he'll be in a similar level match (world title), but not Brian. Went with 5 in the ratings, perhaps somewhat harsh when looking back at it. 6... maybe a 6.5 would at a push would have been fairer. HIAC was in a different league, that aside I did enjoy Punk - Jericho despite it being far more slower than I expected overall. Couple of decent spots in the other match. Enjoyed the Cody - Show match, and while the match I didn't care for it, I was happy Kane went over Orton clean :eek: Tag match.. meh, at least Ziggler was on the PPV I suppose. Divas.... Maria looked lovely :P Only positive. Cena - Rock was alright. Wasn't expecting much from either tbh, and was quite tired around the last 10 mins. Happy the Rock went over, but tis a bit funny the supposed no.1 guy for the last 7 odd years and is in week in and week out couldn't win.

At least my accum came in heh

edit: production value and stadium/crowd was poor. Wished they returned to indoor arenas, little to no chance of that anymore I guess.

I'm still a bit pissed at the Bryan burial. It could have been the best mania ever only for it. Can't remember the last event, even mania i watched where there were three match of the year candidates in the one show. And yes, they were that good. Any one of them would have completely stolen the show at any PPV.

HIAC was one for the ages, up there with Taker/Michaels and Taker/Foley back in the day. Need to rewatch it tbh to take it in properly.

Punk/Jericho was an excellent match with the right combo of skilled moves, two great in ring workers, good heat worked through the DQ angle and no gimmicks. Just straight up, balls out wrestling. Finish was epic and some of the reversals and exchanges throughout were class. Brilliant storytelling. Would like to see Jericho go over in the rematch now.

Rock/Cena was better than i ever expected it to be. **** me, the Rock still has it and Cena was well able to hang with him. Crowd was so into it which made it the classic it was. Again i'm using the term storytelling but what a story it told, end of a year long journey with false finishes and mark out moments aplenty and most importantly The Rock WON!

A WrestleMania Trilogy. The first match got relegated from being on the main show to a dark match that ended in a DQ that resulted in a Battle Royal that was won by Khali. The second match lasted 18 seconds & Mainly consisted of a Kiss cause WWE wanted to Break the record for the fastest match ever at WrestleMania & some people want Sheamus vs Bryan III at Mania, er good luck with that lads. Might be some chance if they had great chemistry in the build up but they had very little time or interaction with one another on tv.

It is though. Biggest stage of them all, a lot of part timers tune in just for that, what's their reaction going to be only "that lad is ****e"?

I know they're going for the "cowardly heel gets his comeuppance" line but don't do that in Mania with a match a lot of people were looking forward to that included the massively over Rumble winner and possibly the best mat wrestler in the business ffs. Kane/Orton and Show/Cody were two far better candidates for the squash. I mean, this devalued both the WHC and the Royal Rumble in one fell swoop. Still bitching about this two months on but last night is why Jericho should have won the Rumble.
