Last year I lost 4 stone, through being more active and changing my diet, this year I have reached the 5th stone and am so much more dedicated to work outs and dietary needs ect.
I am currently 14stone 8lbs, and 5'9 but my stomach isn't looking great, the shape of it is looking as though it could be saggy excess skin, there is still fat to lose there and I have increased my water intake and am trying to get more ab exercises in to prevent it, but is it preventable? Is there anything I can do that will prevent it? I worry about my arms and thighs but my stomach is what I'm terrified about.
    Thank you! :)

It just takes time, can take up to two to three years for the body to adjust as long as you are continuing your regime. It is just fat, I know it feel like excess skin but it is fat just very stubborn stuff and usually the last to go. Keep an eye on your diet and the longer you keep it lean the sooner you will see results. Working the abs wont make much of a difference to the tone if there is fat there and even after losing large amount of weight body fat can remain high and gives that "skinny fat" look you're describing. Have your body fat checked and you'll get a better idea of where it's at and what you might be aiming for.

I have this loose skin too from pregnanacy, weight gain, and then loss (hurrah) My upper stomach doesn't look too bad but the lower area is still poochy :( I'll just keep working out and either it goes, or it doesn't....I also use body firming creams on it every day which improves the skin tone a bit (I hope)

Thank you for your help and advice, it just sucks because I work out every day, and the workout I do is an intense one, I do the 30 day Shred by Jillian Michaels, I also incorporate brisk walks, and intervals of jogs and runs. I try to incorporate every exercise so I can work on all of my body rather then try aim at a problem area.

I use bio oil to help increase the elasticity, and I am drinking plenty more water as I read it helps. I'm just so worried, terrified really that it will stay that way but thank you for the re-assurance I appreciate it.
