    Hi
Just turned 18 and I want to basically lose a little bit of my belly and thigh fat and generally tone up. One major thing I want to achieve is to build up my arms because right now I can do one pushup and that's it. I am 5ft 9 and I weigh 80kg... just considered overweight.

In fairness I play football every week and I've got strong calf muscles so that must be some of the weight, right?

Anyway, I've signed up to the gym. Currently all I play on doing is the treadmill and exercise bike for cardio for around half an hour every two days and then using the dumbells for half an hour every two days. Is this a good plan?

Thank you, sorry for being a total noob on this subject

Edit: just looked at another thread
I do eat quite a bit of junk food, I think? I avoid the obvious outlets like fried chicken, kebabs, mcDs etc but I eat rice + curry daily and noodles pretty often too.
