Some decent stats from the caf thread on the game...

Fulham away from home in the league since 2005-2006
    2005-2006: 1-4-14
    2006-2007: 1-8-10
    2007-2008: 3-7-9
    2008-2009: 3-8-8
    2009-2010: 1-7-11
    2010-2011: 3-9-7
    2011-2012: 2-5-7

Utds last 10 home results against Fulham:

    2001-2: United 3-2 Fulham
    2002-3: United 3-0 Fulham
    2003-4: United 1-3 Fulham
    2004-5: United 1-0 Fulham
    2005-6: United 4-2 Fulham
    2006-7: United 5-1 Fulham
    2007-8: United 2-0 Fulham
    2008-9: United 3-0 Fulham
    2009-10: United 3-0 Fulham
    2010-11: United 2-0 Fulham

7 straight home win, 9 out of last 10.

So I guess Fulham are due a win then :)

I'd take a 1-0, but wouldn't it be great to see the goal difference advantage wiped out....

5-0 United. At least. After what we did to them at Craven Cottage, I would expect no less.

Utd to pretty much wrap the title up :(

We need to be ruthless against teams such as Fulham etc,I'd take a 3 nil win & no injuries.

Are you forgetting the fact that Utd have to play City at the Etihaad? League is far from over. Utd in the driving seat but assuming City maintain their narrow goal difference advantage the league is still in their own hands.

this won't wrap the title up.

City are still within striking distance thanks to that Eastlands game to come.

i think it'll be a slow procession to the title for Utd, as i think City will drop more points, but this isn't the game that will decide it by any means.

that being said...4-0 Utd. the way Fulham play suits Utd down to the ground as Utd will probably be let play. this could be a mauling.

    United at a canter, 3-0.

Fulham are notoriusly bad away from home and Utd have the title in their sights.

perfect attitude for united to slip up (this will be easy attitude)...IF it was any other time than the run in, that is...so it should be a win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,037 ✭✭✭✭adox

    United should win comfortably.

Can't see anything other than a comfortable win for United here. 3-0.

I've said it time and time again, 25 years in charge the man is a master.

United after xmas are a different animal in the league, I think fergie does this on spite he wants to be there or there about come xmas with the view to go gung ho after that.

I hope for a 3-0 win and wipe out the goal difference which should play a pivotal part in the league.

Most people predict a comfortable win most likely because it should be a comfortable win.

Complacency from posters does not mean there will be complacency from the team.

Fulham are very hard to anticipate this year, but since they've little to play for at this stage of the season I can see United winning by a couple of goals.

Also, transfer muppet hat on, I hope SAF is blown away by Moussa Dembele and signs him this summer.

    another stroll for united imo.

Anything less than a United win would be a big setback imo. I can't see any other result, but football is a funny old game.

United have a chance to make inroads into their goal difference deficit however first things first is getting those three points.

Put a fiver on Rooney to score two or more goals at 10/3. Maybe not a big bet to many, but its my first online so fingers crossed...

I'll be hoping for 5 goals from Young tonight. Hopefully Valencia or Rooney don't set any of them up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,646 ✭✭✭Luap

If Rooney can get a brace here, I've a feeling he might catch RVP.

Happy with the side that's out. 2-0 win but hopefully United can bag a few more and keep the clean sheet.

Sitting in JFK airport in a small "beach" style bar trying to get them to switch to ESPN 2 so I can see the game. Unfortunately for me the terminal is full of boston people and the Red Sox are currently playing. Time to break out a couple of George Washingtons to change the barmans mind.
