Msc Finance

    Hi TCD students,

    I am pretty sure I am going to do my msc finance at the tcd, but I still have some questions. Are here any previous students from the msc finance? Do you think the content of the MSc was helpfull? - I would like to work in the equity research area later on...
    I read that the lectures are in blocks, 1 subject lasts only 1 week. Are there any assesments during that week? How does the assesment work? Essays, exams and presentations? Do you prefer that way of teaching?

    Furthermore I would like to know, how is the career service? Are there any interesting financial service fairs?

    Does anybody who did the MSc know

    -do they make conditional offers (conditional on GMAT) OR
    - do they make offers after GMAT results are out?

    I have a non-business background that is why I am doing the GMAT.

    Also, i know it is week on week off, but as a rough guide - how many hours/week?
