Anyone know a good reasonably priced place with VCDS / VAG - COM in around Galway city. Looking at buying a T4 transporter 2.5 TDi is stuck in limp mode. Possible MAF sensor, etc. problem. Can't do more than about 65mph.

Anywhere you can hire one/ buy second hand?
Are the 35 euro ones online that come with a cable and CD any use?

    Cheers

The cheap ebay ones are of limited use unless you spend $99 on a licence from Ross-Tech. This link gives a good comparison of the functionality available from different versions: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/vag-functions.html

Without buying a licence, you can only use it in shareware mode.
