A win today will crown Celtic champions at Ibrox, something which has not happened since Celtic's famous 1967 season.

    Dont forget the fridge.

Rangers spent big money on Jelly, Ice-Cream and a lovely fancy fridge. The Fridge got repossessed, and now they have melted ice-cream and they cannot set their jelly.

Big call leaving Hooper out. Hopefully Stokesy repays the faith lenny is putting in him.

I presume thats a 4-5-1 formation cos otherwise its a very narrow midfield.

Hooper was a doubt during the week along with Forrest who hasn't made the bench.

Yeah it looks to be a 4-5-1 with Brown out right and Samaras on the left. Happy to have Ki in there. He always plays well in these kind of games.

A rare start for Stokes against them. Hopefully he can do the business.

Also surprised to see Cha in there. Tbh you'd wonder what's going on with Izzy.

hasn't played well since his return which is a huge pity.

I think whenever the league is wrapped up we will see Izzy getting more game time to get him back to where he was.

    The Rangers team

McGregor, Goian, Bocanegra, Perry, Whittaker, Papac, Edu, McCabe, Davis, Aluko, McCulloch

That's a joke, McCulloch up front by himself.

Nice way of handing them the party they want McCoist.

He's not exactly blessed with options.

Setting up to frustrate is probably a sound plan tbh

Wallace is playing for Rangers, think Perry is the one that misses out

Wasn't the jelly and icecream supposed to be for when Rangers die ? :pac:

Lafferty is on the bench though.
And he could have easily taken a youngster to put next to McCulloch.

Same with Papac/Wallace, everybody sees that it doesn't work, yet here we are...

Happy enough with the team, nice to see Stokes in there from the off. Not too happy about Cha in there, and Matthews out of position though.

Midfield is strong, very happy with that.

    C'mon Celtic, make it happen.

Shocker of a miss from Stokes there. Great stuff from Sammy though. Plenty more goals in this game to come.

Great play from Samaras. Stokes should have done better..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,406 ✭✭✭Pompey Magnus

Stokes was offside during the entire run of Samaras

To be fair, it's a pretty good game so far.

Celtic seemed to have woken up a bit.

Jaysus Stokes, wake up, he's like Skippy getting caught offside.

Are Celtic missing some defenders? Been shocking back there so far.

Their defence is just average, that's all.

Midfield is definitely their best part of the team.

edit: McCabe looks like a decent prospect for us.

    Lee Wallace.

We're standing off Aluko and seem clueless how to deal with him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Should have put his foot through it.

If possible, sign Aluko on a long term contract please.

Celtic giving the ball away too much at the moment, they need to calm the heads. Patient build ups, get them frustrated. It's all too easy to them at the moment.
