Arsenal vs Aston Villa, 3pm

    Arsenal line-up:

Szczesny, Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Gibbs, Song, Arteta, Rosicky, Gervinho, Walcott, Van Persie.

    Villa line-up:

Given, Hutton, Collins, Cuellar, Warnock, Petrov, Herd, Albrighton, Ireland, Heskey, Agbonlahor.

Massive game for Arsenal as they will be looking to capitalise on Chelse and/or Spurs dropping points.
Gervinho in for Ramsey is the only change, no surprise there.

Villa are wrecked with injuries as they will be without Dunne, Bent and N'Zogbia for this game.

    Thoughts?

I'm going for a handy home win due to villas injuries. 3-0

Aye, probably Arsenal's easiest fixture in their last 9 games!

    I'll say a 3-1 or 4-1

Id happily take 3 nil right now but Villa always give Arsenal a tough game.

    Im thinking 2-1 to Arsenal

Could somebody post a link to a stream of the game please. Thanks.

We never get it easy off Villa, Bent and N'Zogbia being out is a help though.

I'm afraid Heskey will do something outrageous.

Well looking at the line up Im really happy that Ramsey has been dropped again as he has been one of the worst players on the pitch lately, and playing Rosicky on the wing doesn't tend to work. Hopefully Gervinho got out of bed with his right foot today.

Just hope that Kos didn't get injured at warm up as iMuse has said.

edit: yep Kos is gone due to a slight knee strain.

I'll be the token optomistic Villa fan then and say 1-2 to Villa.

Why? Because with that team out Villa will defend like it's WW1 all over again but I can see Ireland, Albirghton and Gabby especially having some fun on the counter as Arsenal go chasing the game. The last few games Villa did that but couldn't hold on (remember being 2-0 at the Emirates in the FA cup) but last season they did manage an got away with a very important win for Villa.

So delusions away, Villa to win:D

Koscielny injury is true. Jenkinson on the bench now then.

Djourou doesn't worry me too much, did impress last season as centre back at times. Gives him a good chance. Not a bad game either.

I know he isn't as bad as I made it out to be BUT Heskey is playing on the left wing.... this will be interesting :D

It obviously will, he and Vermaelen were just starting to form a partnership.

Heskey already providing a tricky approach :D

Closest Heskey's had to a strike on target all season - how many more defenders do Arsenal have on the bench now, if Djourou comes off?

    Djourou in bits

Worrying moments for Arsenal as Emile Heskey lands on Johan Djourou - who was a late replacement for Laurent Koscielny - following an aerial challenge. Djourou looks hurt. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is remonstrating with the fourth official, suggesting an elbow was used by Heskey.

Finally, Heskey finds a use for himself; falling, but on people.

Anyone else find it a little worrying that 75% of our defense was around the Villa box in the last attack?

Villa keeping 10 back in their own box and still can't mark up:mad:

If they were allowed dig trenches and lay down barb wire McLeish would be delighted

English commentary will be harder to find now the the Premier League blocked all EU broadcasters from having the default English feed.

Vermaelen is such an attacking centre back. Running forward at any opportunity. We do luck a bit open on the break though.
