I don't think Davis loves fathers name was Davis. Maybe his grandad was and then someone before that. Such an America silly thing this III thing is.

His dad was Davis M Love Jr and he was a well known and respected golf teacher who died in an aircraft accident in 1988.
His son Davis (Dru) Love IV is also a good golfer who has decided to stay amateur at the moment.
His grandad was Davis Love (Not 1st) who was also a PGA pro.
