Does anyone know if your GP can refer you to a public clinic for skin conditions? My son is a 21 yr old student with no health insurance and he has what looks like 3 cysts on his chest. He did have skin tags removed about 5 years ago and I don't know if these cysts come from those sites. However, he is anxious about them. His skin is generally okay, apart from acne he suffered from for a year or two in his teens. He gets the occasional red blotch on his face but otherwise hs skin is okay - no acne on his back or anything. He's having a 'free' consultation tomorrow at some dermatologists clinic but I know they will most likely recommend expensive treatment that we can't afford. I'm just registering him to the HSF Fund (Saturday fund?) but wonder if he could be seen through the public system? I don't qualify for a medical card but I'm a single parent and constantly smashed. Any tips welcome
