    Could someone recommend me a good beginner weights programme?
    Ideally something 2-3 months 3-4 days per week involving

    Stick to compound exercises. There are about 10. If you don't know what they are try googling them or bodybuilding.com is great for info for beginners. But one thing I'll say is if you want to see results dont go near a gym without proper nutrition. I wasted a year of training by eating ****!
