Facebook notification question

    A college friend accepted a friend request on Facebook a few days ago.
    A bit earlier today I noticed that he/she had done something which created a facebook notification to add me to their "family" group.
    It said something about confirmation via timeline preferences.
    In the meantime the notification seems to have vanished.
    Also the person no longer appears on my list of friends .

    Any ideas what's going on.
    I'm still only coming up to speed on some of the newer security stuff on Facebook.

    Possible added you into a group they call "family" by accident and then deleted you by accident. Otherwise one of those FB glitched that happen from time to time.

    You can request to be a friend again ... though they may have accepted your friend request in error in the first place! :eek:
