Ebay clay trap - any thoughts?

    I have got 1 , they are a good sturdy trap now, its the double arm thrower i have , for few extra quid you can throw some nice pairs, teal etc

    good stuff.. actually got one of the single arm full cock models for a lot less then I thought I would - so went with that. roll on the weekend - hopefully !!

    where do yous lads fire these traps? i have one but dont own any land so we just use it in a bog but its close to the road and duck do nest there so i rarely use it

    thats what we use is an old patch of bog - handy enough to drive to and a road in thats not to dodgy !! so were blessed really. Say it be hard enough to get permission in a green field though with the mess they make.

    Use black clays in the bog , broken bits aren't unsightly then. Bogland I shot on was far off the road. Only a few times a year sure.

    meant to say its not bog as in big turf bog,just small bog wet overgrown, i know we shouldnt be shooting there seeing as its about 8ft off the road but
