    Team news

Wolves caretaker coach Connor has no fresh injury problems to contend with heading into the weekend.

Midfielder Karl Henry is the only player sidelined and he hopes to return from his hamstring injury for the match at Norwich on 24th March.

Connor has to decide whether to recall skipper Roger Johnson, with Wolves having leaked nine goals in three games since he dropped the centre-back.

Antonio Valencia could return to the Manchester United starting XI after travelling to Spain in midweek but not playing in the Red Devils' 2-1 defeat to Athletic Bilbao.

Phil Jones is still suffering with flu, while Brazilian midfielder Anderson is expected to be sidelined for up to five weeks with a hamstring injury.

Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs were all taken off as a precaution in Bilbao, but all should be ready to face Wolves.

    My predicted line up....
    De Gea
    Jones Rio Evans Evra
    Nani Carrick Giggs Young
    Welbeck Rooney

    Hope Rooney starts .

United to win this comfortably imo if Rooney starts, if not still think United will win by couple.

1-0 to United. Both teams haven't played well tbh. I'd expect a bit of a borefest and a Rooney goal winning the game late in the second half for United.

Anything but a Utd win and mothers day is cancelled.

I don't think it will be a comfortable win, never is after an away game in Europe.

Not entirely true. This season alone Utd have beaten Wolves 4-0 and Chelsea 3-0 after away European games. Although they were both home games.

Anyway Wolves are in a bit of a mess at the minute and it would be a huge shock if Utd don't get all three points. Good to see Valencia back. 2-0 to Utd I reckon.

Yes, but MagicMarker did see games AWAY in Europe.

You didn't disprove his point at all!

I did. Those two easy victories I mentioned came after AWAY games in Europe.

I'm really starting to hate the sight of Park on the teamsheet/bench these days. He was borderline useful last season!

Anyways I'm confident of a good win today for Manchester United.

Cricket score coming up. Have Valencia to score any time at 4/1 and Stearman to be booked any time at 2/1.

That United line up should tear Wolves apart, on paper anyway, but have a feeling that Wolves may get a point today or maybe even all three.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,553 ✭✭✭✭Copper_pipe

Hope that we take a 2-0 or 3-0 lead then bring on le pog

Wolves playing with 5 in midfield. Can see it being a frustrating day for United. What I do like is that Rafael does link up well with Valencia when they play together. Hopefully I think this is where we can tear Wolves apart

I reckon we're going for a cricket score here. We should look to wipe off some of the goal difference from City. 4-0 at least.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,785 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

Would just be happy with the win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,593 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Crinklewood

Thirty seconds of applause for Muamba to take place before kick off.

8/1 on a wolves win, bit of value there or 6/1 draw no bet. Have a feeling Wolves might cause am upset today.

Wolves looking by far the hungrier side.
