Back 9 looks to be playing tough. Schwartzel is +4 through 9, having started on 10. Lot of bogies by players from 14 onwards.

Just holed a 25 footer on the 12th to go -7 and 3 clear of the field!

The Snake pit this week, the bear-trap at the Honda, amen corner at The Masters. What is it with Harrington and the hardest holes on the PGA tour and his ability to birdie them all with ease?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 877 ✭✭✭blackwaterfish

lol.... 16 ft putt for birdie

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,567 ✭✭✭✭fullstop

lol.... 16 ft putt for birdie

And in true bizarre Padraig Harrington fashion...... he's parred three par fives today!! :o:D:)

i'd be afraid to hear himself answer that.
his insanity might open a worm hole to a parallel universe and let Be-bop & rocksteady thru.

    Course Record 61.

    Delighted for him.

    course record 61!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭dvemail

Was afraid to post here earlier in case I would hex him, but wow what a round of golf.
Another 3 of them and he might win it in the end!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 877 ✭✭✭blackwaterfish

he's not out of the woods yet...

he could still balls up signing the card.
or maybe a HD replay of him marking his ball might surface

Great to see him shoot a low one, his putter was on fire today, lets hope it's a
start of a good run of form for him.

Cue saint paddy banishes snake pit headlines... love the guy and delighted for him. Must have them PGA eyes going there today.

The old Paddy (as in the one before 2009!!!) is back. 21 putts in 18 holes, first in the 'Strokes Gained - putting' category yet T83 in driving accuracy. It's all about the short game.

Great to see all the PH positivity, makes a great change from the negative posts, delighted for him.

What a round by Padraig! He parred three of the par fives aswell so could have been sub 60.

you need to stay away til monday. youve probably already done damage by posting the above!

Only 46% driving accuracy, yet just 1.286 putts per GIR, which usually helps a round ;)
Putter must have burnt the fingers off him by the time he walked off the 18th.

plus its great news for his charity venture. might actually see him on telly tonite for a couple of brief moments.

with any luck a lightening storm will roll in tonight & stay for 3 days. otherwise im not sure i can handle the pressure he's put us all under now

wish he'd just gone round in 68... ah no.

its an agonizing hint of light at the end of what has been a very dark tunnel. he better not ruin it for us!
