    Hi all,

I'm just wondering if there are any good fitness classes/clubs running anywhere near Dublin 9?
I'm open to lots of different types. I just want something that I can go to and work with a group because I am hoping I will push myself that extra bit in this kind of surrounding. I'm looking to increase my fitness, and shed a couple more pounds in the process. Also I know yoga/spinning etc. can be very good but I would be too conscious in a class that was nearly all women (sorry if that seems sad, but I'm sure many would understand where I am coming from).
I play a friendly soccer game once a week, and do a bit of running/circuit training on my own, but looking for something new. 32 years old, if that's a factor to anyone's suggestions. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.:)

Hanley, who is a regular poster on boards has started up a strength and conditioning bootcamp in Glasnevin. From what I've heard the classes are quite intense but scaled appropriately to suit participants' fitness levels. There's a mix of guys and girls in the class and so far I've heard of them using kbs, DBs, bodyweight exercises and battling ropes....not sure my delicate, little arms would fancy the ropes tbh :D:D

www.jameshanley.ie has all the info if your interested.

Everyone has a serious love/hate relationship with those ropes. Easily my new favourite training tool!! :)
