    Hi,

What,s the history of the AA R85A1? Bought where? How long ago, how much use has it seen? any replacement parts in that time etc.?

and how is the blow back on it?

    Cheers

@vents : Traded it on here a couple of months ago ,As far as I know 2 previous owners but cant say for sureand cant say whats been replaced.

Blowback was disabled when i got it so thats good.Stuck once while on Semi ,went to full and back again solved this.
Apart from that good order and shoots very well.

    Thanks

    I could offer €80 for the 1911,
They are $116 new from <Snip> with 2 mags.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 98 ✭✭token3

if it is my old one, bought it from tony in eirsoft couple years back at a toys for boys show. had it lying idle and traded it for an ebr on boards last year. so was traded as new as i never skirmished it and only put maybe one mag through it it was in perfect nick. it always had the semi jam problem but thats common on all army and g+g models (i checked) and fixes very easily without any internal fiddling.

offer 110 for the l85, considering it is 4th hand

    Eo1n8wrd.

That is not an irish site listed if you wish to compare saying i can get X cheaper then please list from an irish website.

Sorry but i don't see that written anywhere in the rules that i have to quote an irish site, and i don't see any reason why i can't quote any airsoft site, i have seen it done before!

Either way my offer of €80 stands.
    Thank you

what i think andy means is you must compare like for like and so take into account ALL expenses to have it landed here in ireland.
    eg
    gun $116 +shipping $46.20 = $162.2
    converted to euro €123.98 + vat @21% €26.04 = €150.02.

saying i can buy $116 is not an accurate comparison.

It has nothing to do with what he means, its about what he said, that i am not allowed to quote non irish sites.
Fair enough about the like for like comparison on prices now that a moderator has decided to actually explain their issues properly, by the time i would purchase the replacement mag for the set it would be equal to the 150 you are quoting, hence my offer of 80 for a secondhand pistol.
talk about mountains out of molehills lads, i tried to keep it to Pm about my issues, and what is with grapeapes thanking of posts that have nothing to do with him?
and the rules say nothing about quoting non irish sites or like for like, don't come back at me about comparing CA M4s with Systema PTWs or some similar argument. they are your own rules on the top of the page!
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055099052
It's this argumentative nature which is on this forum that has people avoiding it or moving to other forums.
So now i imagine i'll be getting a few days off for arguing with the mods or threadspoiling or whatever else you dream up.

@ snowwolf : can you make it 130 euro and We can Deal. Do you require a battery/charger and where are you based.Thanks.

@ Eo1n8wrd : no thanks just too low.
Just to let you know along with the courier charges goods purchased outside EU are subject to VAT @ 23% also there is usually a customs clearance charge.
I have been dissapointed with this in the past being a keen bargain Hunter.
Sometimes your better off buying new local.
    Anyway best of luck.

@Eo1n8wrd : The lowest I would accept for it would be 90 euro. The cost of shipping to galway via an post is probably 7.50based on weight and package size but I would have to verify this for you.
    Thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 701 ✭✭✭Eo1n8wrd

So you reckon you might post it for 90 if postage is not crazy?
Shouldn't be more than 8 anyways, shipped a boxed pistol with 5 mags recently and it was <10.
Let me know anyways and we can arrange something.
