Should be a good game I don't think France have played to their potential thus far and England have been playing quite well and are definitely more of an attacking threat with Tuilagi back in the side.

Not a bad start from England.

    France:
15 Clement Poitrenaud, 14 Vincent Clerc, 13 Aurélien Rougerie, 12 Wesley Fofana, 11 Julien Malzieu, 10 Lionel Beauxis, 9 Julien Dupuy,
8 Imanol Harinordoquy, 7 Julien Bonnaire, 6 Thierry Dusautoir (c), 5 Yohann Maestri, 4 Pascal Pape, 3 Nicolas Mas, 2 Dimitri Szarzewski, 1 Jean-Baptiste Poux.

Replacements: 16 William Servat, 17 Vincent Debaty, 18 Lionel Nallet, 19 Louis Picamoles, 20 Morgan Parra, 21 Francois Trinh-Duc, 22 Maxime Mermoz.

    England (revised):
15 Ben Foden, 14 Chris Ashton, 13 Manusamoa Tuilagi, 12 Brad Barritt, 11 Charlie Sharples, 10 Owen Farrell, 9 Lee Dickson,
8 Ben Morgan, 7 Chris Robshaw (c), 6 Tom Croft, 5 Geoff Parling, 4 Mouritz Botha, 3 Dan Cole, 2 Dylan Hartley, 1 Alex Corbisiero.

Replacements: 16 Rob Webber, 17 Matt Stevens, 18 Tom Palmer, 19 Phil Dowson, 20 Ben Youngs, 21 Charlie Hodgson, 22 Mike Brown.

With Beauxis at 10, France won't be flashy. I think an upset could be on here, it will be interesting to see if Farrell can handle the cauldron of Stade de France.

France have probably been the disappointment of the championship given their player depth, they need to step up their performance.

Hartley is scrummaging with his chest again.

I thought Beauxis would be kicking ahead of Dupuy... Poor drop-goal attempt from Beauxis and Dupuy's penalty was poor too.

Dupuy misses an attempt. Why is Beauxis not taking the kicks? He has a siege gun boot.

Big decision there, France try looked on.

Cracking tackle and then Farrell with the quick offload.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Sensational England try! Great work by Farrell in the buildup. Cracking finish by Tuilagi.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,988 ✭✭✭Spudmonkey

That was a superb try from broken play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Noice conversion. 0-7

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Looking at the replay, anyone think Poitrenaud could have done better to get across. He seemed to be almost jogging, if he was going faster, he could have got across to make a tackle about 10 metres from the line and probably would have put him into touch.

Beauxis takes over kicking duty, strokes it over nicely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Great kick from Beauxis: 3-7

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

    French defence is woeful.

Try Foden. Great break from Morgan. Terrible tackle on Foden though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,373 ✭✭✭ongarite

This is like a carbon copy of last week so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

I don't want to play this England team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Morgan has got unreal pace for a guy with his big build.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

The French defensive line has more holes than a sieve, crazy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,373 ✭✭✭ongarite

England just cutting through French defense at ease. they could do a number on us next week if they do this at home.

Sharples looked freakishly fast chasing after that ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

oooh could have been interesting had Dickson held that, French defenders would have all been offside

    Unreal from Bonnaire there!

Eddie Butler is a shockingly bad commentator and Moore is just plain annoying. Neither are up to BBC standards

Moore is annoying but he often tends to know what he is talking about, at least more than some commentators.

    Possession going back and forth!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

That was idiotic from England. Dupuy kicks a sitter: 6-14

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

    Rolland is so pedantic.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭Sherifu

Good game so far, Tuilagi's speed is very impressive but he needs to kick when he has to.

Oooh Croft has some speed on him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006
