Just looking for peoples thoughts on this one if ya would.

At the moment im doing crossfit 3 times a week. Im also throwing in my own session once or twice a week. Now, ive signed up for a 10km trail run at the end of march so I need to train for that. Also, ive an adventure race on the 14th April, so im going to have to train with running and cycling to get the miles up. Now, to add to that ive been roped into a white collar boxing night in May so training for that is going to start pretty soon. So, with that, and crossfit alone, that would be training 5 days in a row. Somewhere im gonna have to try fit in a cycle or 2 of about 40km and some 10-15km runs as well. My question is, is this too much, is my body gonna cave in on me? What kinda nutrition would I be needed to get me through if I was to tackle it all (bearing in mind im trying to loose a bit of body fat at the moment)?

    Many thanks.

Lol...that looks like exactly what I do when I'm left to my own devices...a bunch of random things thrown together with no logical structure whatsoever!! :D

I'm only just starting to learn about training and 'priorites'..that you can't keep adding, adding, adding all the time without taking away.

If I were you I'd write down that list of things you've mentioned and actually look and determine where the priorities lie. Maybe you could cut down on the crossfit stuff to once a week so that you can fit in training for the adventure race and the white collar boxing???

True that. Tis a bit outrageous alright! The crossfit im signed up for 3 sessions a week up until June so I want to get my monies worth out of that!

Suppose I did manage a 12 km run the other day without really training for it at all, so perhaps the running could be put on the back burner a bit. Cycling im really gonna have to get cracking with. Feckin white collar boxing is the spanner in the works! Dont know why I signed up but now im obliged!

Where are you training Crossfit? Ask them about Crossfit endurance and can they do a programme based on it for your races? If not there's a few trainers that have done the course recently so you could get in contact with them! All else fails have a read of the site & articles on it.

Fitting it all in is going to be tough as you know, how long is the boxing training going before the actual event 6-8 weeks? IMO you'll have to drop something, as mentioned before prioritise what you want to do!

Prioritise - why do you have to do everything. If you need, drop out what's unnessecary for your immediate upcoming short term goals or cut back
