Exercise and Not Eating Enough

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem. I have been doing Weight Watchers for over a year and I have lost nearly 2 stone but would like to lose another 2 stone. I seem to have a hit a plateau in my weight loss and I've exhausted every food possibility as to why. I was wondering if the myth about, your body retaining fat if you do exercise but don't eat enough, is true?
I estimate that I consume roughly 1300 calories a day on WW and I have recently started doing Davina DVDs which I find great and I can feel the difference. I know I will lose inches and tone but I do feel like I need to lose more fat as well. I currently weigh 11st 13lbs, I'm 5.5" and I have roughly 27% body fat.
I have been doing some research on it but there seems to be so much conflicting evidence that I don't know what's right or what's wrong. I read through the stickies at the top and based on g'em's post I think it was I should be consuming 2,130 in order to lose weight. That seems to be a big increase from what I would be consuming on WW which is 3 healthy meals a day.
Sorry for the long post but I'd be grateful for any help as it is really getting me down. Thanks!

It's unlikely that you are eating too little to lose weight. The reason you have plateau'd is probably as simple as not adjusting your calirie intake to account for the weight you'be lost. Now that you've lost 2 stone everything you do burns less energy.
How are you calculating 1300? Underestimating here can have an impact

As for the 2100 calories calculation , that looks high. If I had to guess I'd say you are over estimating energy burned through exercise.

Thanks for the reply. I do the old WW plan as the new one didn't work for me so based on that it is roughly 60 calories per point and I'm on 20 points which is 1200. (Sorry me earlier post should have read 1200 not 1300).
I have done more research and I've looked at FitDay and Calorie Count and they say that I should be eating 1,570 and 1,474 respectively, that's with exercising several days a week. Does anyone have any experience with these sites? Are they accurate for calculating calorie intake for weight loss?
