At least 4 days of weights, usually 5 mixed with HIIT every second day. I'm also playing football.

I'm looking to become Zyzz. Well, I want to get to about 15 Stone and shredded brah. I'm 6'2.

You should add up everything there to see what your calorie count is because it doesn't look like very high. Plenty of protein but not a whole lot of carbs.

You don't have portions there, but the about looks like its barely over 2000 calories. Look more like a weight loss diet.
Add 100g of peanut butter and a litre of milk.

But I've been steadily gaining weight and I almost religiously eat like this every day. Some times I have Salmon instead of the two 6oz steaks or have two chicken breasts.
I think I need an extra meal in there though. It's only 5 a day, I should really be getting 6.
The Peanut butter sounds like a good idea. I got some from myprotein.co.uk a while back though and its was disgusting. Can anyone recommend a good healthy one that still has a nice bit of taste to it?

It's actually an 8oz chicken breast I'm eating at 12.00 with some salad.

Zyzz must of had almost no body fat at all!

It's impossible to tell based on the info you posts.

Oats could be 130 calories or 400 calories depending on your portion size.
The same applies for chicken, steak.
Track a typical day, including portion size. Input it to MyFitnessPal (either the website or the iphone or android app - great app imo)
That will tell you the calories.
If its low, adding nut butter is easy fix. You get get it in the supermarket, just check the peanut content and go for the highest one.

If you are steadily gaining weight you don't need to change anything. But when you stop gaining weight you should:

    - Have a bigger breakfast, throw some blueberries, blackberries and grapes into your porridge.
    - Have a handful of mixed nuts (walnuts, brazil nuts, almonds etc) when you're drinking you're green tea
    - Don't have 2 oranges and 2 bananas for your supper, just have one of each and then other fruit like pears, apples etc
    - Increase the amount of protein you take
    - Drink half a pint of low fat milk after you workout
    - Eat a can of tuna at some stage during the day

The fruit and nuts mentioned above all have important vitamins/minerals/nutrients etc and many of them have properties which help kill or reduce fat cells.

Do not increase carbs if you can help it, carbs are you're enemy (except for your pre workout meal when you need them the most). Instead focus on increasing your protein intake.

No fruit or nuts have the ability to reduce or "kill" fat cells.

    Carbs aren't an enemy.
He needs a calorie surplus to put on muscle. As long as he gets his protein requirements (1g per lb BW) the rest of his calories come from any source. 1g per lb BW will only be about 25% of his daily needs

Working out with any sort of intensity withouts carbs is not a good idea.
(as somebody will prob mention it, I'm excluding where carb intake is so low it triggers ketosis)

It's funny you mention this. I've been on somewhat of a quest in order to make myself feel better about drinking wine. One Link you might find interesting (the link talks about grapes). There is some doubt about if it actually reaches the fat tissue. Sounds like injecting it, directly to the site might work;). But I'm all open to see any other good evidence that supports what you are saying and my drinking more wine.

Eating how you currently eat will not get you to where you want to be. Think 14stone is better target tbh.

There's no point referencing studies if you can't apply them to people. The studies were in mice first off all. Secondly the difference between the control group and the bb group was minor. Also on day 51 the BBJ group gained more fat than the control. What wold the conclusion have been if the study ended there.
Lots of food contain chemicals involved in fat metabolism but the effects are tiny not so something that will fix a diet. They aren't hormones.
There are nutritional benefits of eating fruit. They do have a benefit. But the OPs problem is lacking cals not missing a compound found in blueberries

Agreed and using term 'squeezes fat out of cells' is like a red rag to a bull for me

The op has said he is steadily gaining weight, if he increases his calories at this stage it will most likely be stored as fat. The fact he is gaining weight shows he is getting enough for his energy requirements. Once his weight stops increasing he needs to focus on uping his protein intake while minimising any extra carb intake. Adding the extra fruit and having more protein shakes etc will give him all the extra calories he needs to put on weight while minimising any fat gain.

    I'm considering a new sticky:

    "Want to get big?

Eat more and lift heavier. "

    /end sticky.

In all seriousness though OP, you need to work out how many calories you need to eat for maintenance then eat more. Unless you know how many kcals you're eating now plus a macro breakdown it's all just guess work.

Also, the reason that Zyzz lad could walk around shredded as feck all the time probably had a lot more to do with chemicals than food.

That's a completely unrelated point to what you said previous. But still makes no sense.
There is no reason to assume that extra calories means he'll gain fat. He was been gaining, but if he wants to keep gain weight he'll need to eat more. A higher LBM means a higher BRM.
You still haven't said why he needs to minimaise his carb intake.
Fopr example. 300 grams of protein is a huge daily intake, but will only be about 50% of what he needs to be eating. THe rest have to come from carbs and fats.

Telling him to minimise his calories from carbs, and to get his calories from fruit makes no sense at all. Fruit are carbs.
Also, the reason that Zyzz lad could walk around shredded as feck all the time probably had a lot more to do with chemicals than food.

I assumed everyone was aware of that and it was a bit of a joke.
Was also expecting a reference to burning it off in a sauna too.
