    Is there an effect? Maybe. But honestly, who gives a sh*t. Calories are far more important. An if you're eating real food, ie meat and veg, nuts and seeds, fruit, a small bit of starch and no sugar, the whole debate is moot.

    For someone serious about losing weight or getting healthy, improve food quality, ensure adequate protein intake, track kcals. That's in the order of importance of have them in too.
