Handy to keep these all in the one place:

Boyles - Refund losing bets if an Irish horse wins the Supreme - only in shops and not sure of max prob 100

PP - refund losing bets if SS wins the Arkle 100 max

    Anymore people let us know

Boyles only doing that in the shops, online = money back 2nd in first 4 races

So that means arbers can back Cue Card, Al Ferof & Menorah with Powers to guarantee win & Sprinter Sacre with Boyles & if Sprinter Sacre is 2nd beno, or If Sprinter Sacre wins your in profit as well

Sandman said John Mulhollands are doing money back 2nd to Ruby Walsh as a free bet all races, will that apply to all betpack shops?

Bruces going free bet if 2nd to Hurricane Fly & free bet if 2nd to fav in handicaps

It's so depressing when you miss out on stuff like that. Knew well it would happen too with Ruby in today and nothing I could do to get on. Feck work

They'll be doing another enhancement tomorrow i suspect it'll be Sizng Europe! Each day this week they have someone on the phone live for a few minutes and then enhance there Cheltenham fancy for 15minutes.

Also they are enhancing any Ruby Walsh ride for the whole of March so if ya fancy one of his at the festival they'd be best price i'd imagine

I hate work at the best of times but some of these posts are depressing me so much i feel like quitting just for the next 2 weeks!

At this rate a lot of bookies are taking each other on so there could well be big drifters in the market next week and maybe we might not have the amount of odds on shots we thought the exceptions being Quevega and Big Bucks who will surely both be odds on but I hope not!!!:D

i was just about to back darlan today for the supreme in Boylesports money back if its won by an irish horse had a look at the small print to see what limit they had only to see this offer is only available after 11am monday,12th march. A BIT SNEAKY i think considering the advertisement for this gives the impression its available now.

    Thats not bad.

You could put on comfy shoes go around alot of boyles backing all the english horses.

if a irish horse wins you get it all back.

dont know what the odds will be but even if the english horses combined came to 1/3 it would still be worth the effort.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

But the thing is robbie it's only for bets placed from Monday. Any boyles I've gone past they have huge posters in every window with the offer, I would never have thought it was from Monday

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,261 ✭✭✭Juwwi

Ah yea I know its sneaky of them agree with ya's just pointing out
    a posible risk free bet.

€900 on at 1/3 would be a nice start to the festival.
I know most wont have 900 to invest or are into that sort of thing and the odds of 1/3 are a total guess by me it could be 4/6 or 1/5 for all I know.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,669 ✭✭✭Colonel Sanders

They had an online only special one year

Was plastered all over the shops as well

Also anyone who's had a NRNB bet with spoils online, watch you account. Any time I've had a void bet with them I've had to e-mail to get a refund. And I mean 100% of void bets I've had with them

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

Especially anyone whose horse is balloted out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 574 ✭✭✭Local_Chap

Just seen a link for this on Facebook.

Set up a new account with PP and you can place up to €50 on Big Bucks at odds of 9/4. Dont know how valid this is tho!

You have to set up the account through another website.

Yeah but if an English horse wins you lose your balls.

Does this also count for the money back if your horse is second offer?

Be careful if you have an account already with them, most bookies do KYC(konw your customer) before they payout so if you give a fake name they will find out and void your bet and it may be in their terms that they keep your money too.

No if an English horse wins you win,if a Irish horse does its money back.

No this offer is shops only.
2nd place one is online and phones.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,261 ✭✭✭Juwwi

You dutch all the English horses for a combined odds that will be low
and if one of them wins you win.

If an Irish horse wins you avail of the special offer and get all money back.

Yeah but if you have backed the English winner, you have lost your money on all the other English horses you backed.

Yeah but you will have spread your stake out accordingly over every English horse so it does'nt matter which english wins.

ie on a 100/1 shot you might only have €6 on
    10/1 shot €60
    5/1 €120

I dont know the maths it will all depend how many Irish run in it and what prices they are.

I have just done up an excel thing for this. Now at the moment there are 33 declared and 19 are english. For a 500 stake you can get a return of 598 and change. Effectively 1/5. If you take out anything 40/1+ you can get a return of 721 and change for 500.

That makes much more sense alright, have to read the small print, they may well say ah it was English bred

Thanks kiers47 I was hoping it would work out better than 1/5.
not realy worth the hassle at 1/5.
odds could change tho on the day.

If I was to do it tho I'd leave 40/1 plus shots in tho jasus could you imaging a 50/1 shot winning.

I did a blank one up so you can fill it in as you like, only put info in the green areas or you will flip up the formulas.

The Irish horses would all need to be near the top of the market for this to be worth your while.
