pressures on anyway with arsenal winning.
But if you beliveve recent comments why should AVb and a good few of the old guard even bother if they are gone at the end of the season?

A win by a two goal margin sees Chelsea re-take fourth spot.

Lets see what they are made of!

    COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!

Think West Brom will give Chelsea alot of problems today, they're in good form

I see Chelsea were as high as 11/10 to win this match with the bookies. Says an awful lot about Chelsea's chances today.

So half time, what will AVB have to do to get a win here?

    Stick Torres on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,533 ✭✭✭RichT

    POP QUIZ....

If Torres comes on for Sturridge and Romeu comes on for Cahill, why will that result in a Chelsea 'look' that me and the Sgt will remember?

    Here comes Malouda! For Sturidge!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,627 ✭✭✭Sgt Pepper 64

Chelsea should be ahead as they break clear. Juan Mata plays in Daniel Sturridge, who tries to run over the ball and round Ben Foster, but the goalkeeper is wise to it and clears it away. That's two chances for Sturridge - and two failures

that is weird....... malouda for sturridge

i hear the death nells for my blues this season

Looks like we will start again next season with a new manager and most of the old guard gone

still it was good whilst it lasted (under mourinho and carlo)

just shows - theres no subsitute for a quality manager

If chelsea lose this then its the last straw for AVB surely

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,047 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Lol, Long running towards Cole and away from the ball to get the foul! Just play the ball...

Does he have to go now ?

I'd imagine he`ll have until the Napoli game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,627 ✭✭✭Sgt Pepper 64

    Seriously, is anyone surprised?

The experiment is over, as is the season

Roman has got it wrong again.
Sacked managers too early for the wrong reasons rather than refreshing the squad with young blood instead of over paying for torres etc.
For the money we spent on torres and sheva and sacking managers, we could have a bright young squad, it makes my blood boil

Bye bye AVB, you had a go at least, but its back to the old madness

    When will Roman learn

    No point in sacking him.
Who could we bring in to replace him anyway?

If Hiddink was around i could see him coming in to sure us up in order to seal fourth but he's unavailable.

There are no realistic alternatives at the moment.

    I bet he will.

Probably after the Napoli game, possibly even before it. Too many players not playing for him.

Easy to say all that now. I'm sure when Chelsea signed Torres and Luiz last year you were singing from the rooftops like most other Chelsea fans.

It's pathetic the way we are performing at the moment.

The players are just as much to blame as AVB is.

His management skills are very questionable, decision making and substitutions have raised a few eye brows also, but as Blatter pointed out to many players are just not performing for him.

I honestly believe that squad is not bad enough to be in the situation it's in, I never thought it was a squad cabable of winning the EPL this season but we should be sealing a CL spot easily IMO.

Quite the opposite, I think a lot of chelsea fans realised it was madness buying torres who was obviously out of form playing for liverpool and the money would be better spent elsewhere

Luiz howerver, I thought and still think was a good buy

Hmmmm. You absolutely sure you weren't excited about the Torres transfer?
