    System : Sony 46' LCD Television 5 HDMI
    Sony Surround sound blu-ray system. 1 HDMI IN 3 HDMI OUT
    Panasonic blu-ray recorder with Hard Drive 1HDMI OUT
    Sky HD box 1 HDMI OUT
    Humax freesat hard drive recorder. 1HDMI OUT

    Both Satellite boxes are fed off sky dish with a quad LNB.

    Both satellite boxes are connected to the Panasonic recorder AV1,AV2, via scart wires

    Question : Is there any other way to record onto the Panasonic Hard Drive or even straight onto a recordable disc other than using scart.

    The reason been -I have recorded but the picture is average .At times
    you think there was an overlap picture in the background ie subtitles look to have a shadow on recorded disc.

    Does better quality of scart mean better recorded content.
