Door to door, <snip>. On behalf of gas, electric, telephone suppiers and the like. From the website: "Specialising in customer acquisition"

Not to say you shouldnt do it. Just go in with your eyes open, and dont believe everthing they say about prospects etc

This company just seeks people to sell door to door. There's nothing wrong with that, some people are great at sales and may enjoy this job. However, this company was so misleading with the add published in jobs.ie, saying they had open positions for Sales, Customer Service and Marketing roles...

I was called for an "interview" with the Director of the company and was told it would last 1 hour. When I arrived, I found a room with 14 other people waiting for this interview, which ended up being a meeting where they talked about how Sky was their biggest client and tried to convince you to start working in door to door sales in order to get more Sky customers ("direct marketing" they called it). This meeting ended up with a silly test and it lasted 1.5 hours in total. Oh yes, and in the end they mentioned how they had a Business Development Programme, for people who were more interested in managing, but everyone has to start by selling door to door (visiting 75 people per day and making at least 2 sales per day...).

If you like sales and don't mind spending 1 and a half hours there, by all means go, but if you don't and already have a job and need to ask for time off in order to go to this "interview", don't even bother because it is a complete waste of time.

I can't believe they're so misleading... Anyway, you always learn from every experience... I will NEVER AGAIN apply for a job which does not provide a proper and detailed description of what the job is about.

    Hope this was useful.
