Sky Go Blocked For Jailbroken Phones

Hi all,
Just installed xCon and xCon Alias an my JB iPhone4, Sky go working perfectly.
Thanks to all for your posts and advice,

Just updated my skygo app, it's no longer working now, was working fine prior to this update. Have xcon installed, but still no joy.

When you launch the app a pop-up appears saying ''Please visit the App Store for an update'' and you can't get rid of the pop-up until you update the app. So it seems to be a mandatory update to counteract the jailbreakers.

I think it's a case of sitting tight to see if the developer of xCon can patch it again

Skygo fix

Delete app, reboot, sync earlier version 2.1.5 from iTunes
Open app, get update app info
Close and kill the app
Open ifile and in settings switch "Application Names" on
In ifile go to var/mobile/applications/Sky Go
Open skygo.app folder
Edit info.plist version number from 2.1.5
To 2.2.0

App now works like before
It's a fix until xcon gets updated
Enjoy..

Note the first few digits of the app folder name

Find app folder digits

"Old SkyGo (Patched)" is on my repo now. UNINSTALL SKYGO FROM YOUR DEVICE BEFORE INSTALLING IT, THEN FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.

For anyone that doesn't see version 2.1.5 in iTunes (as i didn't) it may still be in the recycle bin,see link below for restore instructions:

I had the same issue on the jb iPhone 4. I resolved the issue as follows;

Remove sky go from your jb Iphone. Respring

Add http://n00neimp0rtant.dyndns.org/repo/ as a source, to your Cydia sources and refresh.

Search the new source for 'old sky go' and install.

Go to installous, downloads and install 'skygo.ipa'

Fire up Sky go and grathu you are good to Go

Nope, it's a month after you last changed one of your devices.

If you log onto the skygo website and go to settings, it will tell you if you are allowed a change, not sure though if it tells you when you can change if a change is not available to you immediately.

Just tried this again and it worked .
It didn't work the previous times

I know this is an old thread, but google led me here:

This no longer seems to work, I get it installed, but when I try and log in I get wrong username/password error (I'm 100% using correct credentials.)

Also running xCon 38-beta34 with the legit app doesn't work either.
