    Firstly, here's what I'm using:

    Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Li 2727 notebook
    Windows Vista
    Intel celeron 2.13ghz
    2039M RAM

    Secondly, my issue:

My initial problem when booting up was that the display was stuck on the main boot screen which simply said "Fujitsu Siemens". The next time I booted up, everything worked just fine out of the blue.
However I have since tried to start up my laptop, and after the 'Fujitsu Siemens' screen, I am greeted with the a black screen, white text reading:

    Intel UNDI. PXE-2.1 (build 082)
    Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

    For Realtek RtL8101E 10/100 PCI-Express Ethernet Adapter v1.03 (070618)
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
    PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM
    Operating System not found

    Any ideas? :(

First check the BIOS and see if the hard disk drive is detected.

Usually F2 or DEL at the POST screen.

best bet, drop it round to a repair technician. They should be able to sort it fairly quickly.

I checked other forums for people with the same issue.
    Most likely it's the HDD.
I think mine was just loose. I took it out, put it back in and now everything is booting up fine :)
