psychics, how accurate are they?

hey all, a while back went to see a psychic in cork and then recently tagged along with a friend. went to see annette singleton and stephanie in cobh. just wondering if anyone else went to see them and if there predictions came through for them?thanks!

I've never been to one, but you ask how accurate they are, for me, it depends on how desperate the visitor is to believe.....

hi its debatable but I know this theres a lot of scammers out there! out of about 15 readings ive had through the years only two of them were genuine! but id estimate theres only 5 genuine mediums in Ireland over all:o

My friend was told by one of the big name psychics that she'd never be married and that she'd end up in a messy relationship with a married man and have twins for him -
She's married a year and a half now to a wonderful guy. So, I wouldn't take any notice of anything they say.

Hi i understand ur opinion, but there are a handfull of gifted psychics/mediums out there, some of them are booked up 4 donkeys yrs glad ur friend had a happy ending, I do agree some of them e.g Joe Gough say terrible things though :eek:

I don't understand how some Psychics can say such things with regarding people ie You will never be married this is not right and as a Psychic myself I have never ever given information like this to anyone and nor would I receive information like this when I do my readings. It would be like going to a Doctor and him saying I am so happy you came to me I can see you have a disease that seriously for the rest of your life you will never be happy...This is just not right and although when I get information it may not be what the person might want to hear I will pass it on and I will say it in a way that they will understand where I am coming from but we can all change the path we want to choose I certainly have and no Psychic could tell me the Path I was going to take I decided to take it myself and likewise to everyone else.
I am very happy with my readings and so are the people who receive them as I am honest - caring and most importantly I understand what people are going through as it is Life Experience sometimes and again I do have to repeat if you are coming to a Psychic to find out how your health will be please go and see a Doctor first as we cannot give medical advice although we can pick up ailments etc we cannot cure them that is for a Doctor and a Specialist etc so rather then pay X amount of money to find out about your Health again spend it on the Doctor first and then if you like have a Psychic reading etc. I give free readings away daily on my page and to me that is what keeps me going as I love what I do and I am thankful I have this gift to share with others...Irish-Psychic

so basically you are saying that if I see corrie on the box before I see you thats what you pick up, that I was one of those characters. that to me isn't a reader but a bluffer. I don't need some one to make me happy, I'm not a child I can deal with the REAL life, and I am far from a dope that will believe anything, make people happy tell them the truth and repeat what you just printed to them then see will they part with their 50 to 80 euros in theses hard times :mad::mad::mad:

I do not charge Carrie. I listen to what people have to say after my reads. No need to charge when I am not really giving anything but what they already know. It justs helps to have a person to talk to.

hi i have to say ive had a few readings from mediums and some i found told me rubbish yet happy to take their money.but ive had readings done with two that i found spot on with stuff .the only problem i have with having a reading done is the prices charged.its cash in hand and no reciept they charge what they like and do they even pay taxes? on these high charges.if its a gift then y charge so much?10euros per person per hour should be enough.not 40 50 etc.i dont even make that kind of money at work, what they take in from multi readings in part of a day at those prices.

Im not sure if there has been any analysis/research done, but I'm sure there's lots of charlatans, but I'd love to be sure that some are genuine, I really want to believe that there are.

I've never been to one. I'm reluctant to, and I'm not exactly sure why. Catholic hang-up probably.

What amount of info were u given in the 100% reading? Was it lots of specific info and totally convincing, and facts that only you could know?

I have been to one psychic and i was a sceptic going but i felt compelled to go for weeks so i finally went just to put my mind at rest and since then iv learnt a LOT about the power of the conscious mind.

Probably not Kneemoss. It's not something that I would do on a regular basis.

If I had a very convincing reading I don't think that I would feel the need to go back.

But I've never been, and because I see so many mixed reports, a visit to a medium is not something that I'd be inclined to do.

I can totally understand why someone would want to visit if they have lost a loved one and are very upset.

You havent explained to me how she knew the details about my life.
You said in a previous post that their accuracy is directly proportional to the amount of information you give them.I didnt give her any information.

The experience changed my life because it prooved to me that this is a LOT more to us than what science can explain and iv had plenty of other experiences with the subconcious/spirit since, because i got curious and i looked deeper after meeting her.

If you went to one,then at least you would have some experience and would be able to make your OWN decision and not be influenced by the sceptics that have no experience but are sure they know how everything works because they have read it in a book.Life is about experiencing things and not everything has been explained.(yet)

Science wont get all the FACTS!!! with a closed mind (like yours).Quantum Physics will prove that we are more than physical.

You`ve got me wrong.I know exactly how it works but it takes a LOT! of time to take in the information and process it.It took me 7 months,24/7 to make sense of everything that happened.It wasnt just the Psychic.There was a Shaman,a woman who connected with my higher self(she really amazed me)and a very powerful Buddhist monk.

Iv only been to one so i cant comment on chancers claiming to be psychics,but i believe you are correct.
What i have learnt is that its usually the client who is the problem and not the psychic.
Think of everything you have done and thought about and the thoughts and deeds of those around you all your life.These are all stored in the Higher mind(which is at a Quantum level and will be prooved to exist,maybe by the research at CERN). The psychic can access this information by connecting to your Higher mind and tell you what has happened and what is happening.The future has not happened and NO Psychic can predict the future.They can see possibilities and potentials based on what you`v done,what you are doing now and what you really want and this is what they tell you.
If you have a lot of choises in life,if you are impulsive or flighty then the possibilities will be greater making it harder for the Psychic to see which road you are on.
If you know what you want in life but those around you are impulsive or indecisive then they can change the potentials and these are the reasons that readings dont come true.You are being told what is likely to happen based on the energies/emotions around you at the time of the reading.
The more connected you are to your spirit/higher mind,the easier it is for the Psychic to access it because the path will already be open for them.

Iv also learned about Energy(chi/Qi)which is Quantum.It is the foundation of all psychic gifts and i can access this myself now because of what iv done and learnt since i visited the psychic

I can use it for Healing but I`m new to this so i keep it for myself for the moment because at this energetic level it is easy for me to pick up Energies/Emotions off people which i then have to dispose of and its not nice getting rid of it.

What I don't understand is why people pay to have their futures read. I know a previous poster said that readings are of possible futures, but I remember my cousin and a few of her friends talking about paying €60 for a reading of their future (as opposed to possible futures).
