Heard that a new 24 hour gym is opening up in Galway out in Briarhill. Good spot given the industrial parks at parkmore. Hope there's truth to this, I finish work up there at midnight and really hate training before work. They demand a lot of our cell up there, no targets could lost your job. Would love to train afterwards, eat a small bit then go straight to sleep! I'd padd it on my way home to!

Anyone else benefit from a 24 hour gym due to work or whatever?

I think I have an idea who is doing this and if its the same fella he was considering it but would obviously have to be tested. 24hour gyms have failed all over the country but you never know it might work out beside the likes of parkmore which have 24hour workplaces.
If its the same guy that I think it is then it will be a good gym tho

Howrya, see i could be training now instead of moping online :P

Anyway I was giving out on facebook earlier about my ****ty working hours and how I need a change etc. A friend posted up that a buddy of his is working with a guy to get one opened for the end of april above dunnes out in briarhill. I had a look about there only a few months ago while the waiting for glasses at that opticians and the first thing I thought of was a gym for that space! I seriously hope this happen, without sounding too dramatic, I think it'd change my life....

    hahaha

Above Briarhill Dunnes would be a fantastic location! I know a lot of people who work 5-11 in that Dunnes that would love to have access to a gym after work, I know they could go before work but most of them don't like going beforehand. There is a lot of people in the likes of boston scientific and other workplaces that have night shifts that i'm sure would avail of it aswell.

I just hope that its not another 'treadmills stacked on more treadmills' kind of place! If it had a large free weights section i'd be in there in a shot!

I'll stay on top of it and when I hear anything at all I'll post back up here to keep folks informed! Could be what a lot of people were hoping for.

Supplement stock, possibly a sunbed for those partial, this is actually a solid business move if they pull it off right!
