Boredom

Am bored to tears here with an afternoon to myself. Don't get them to often and regretting that I didn't make plans now.

When you want to do something with a day/morning/afternoon what do you do?

With neighbors like yours, how can you be bored?

    Mooney's of Monasterevin Abi?

I have made pancakes, many many times, I am in fact a dab hand at pancakes
owing to being a chef with a food business

You're aware of the fact that I myself am what one might refer to as a hot dog horse and that other men types in Monasterevin tend to be those having been released from lengthy prison sentences/mental institutes with secure units! Or rank farmers who last had a shower when Charlie Haughey told the country we are living beyond our means?

I got made redundant 3 weeks ago, I am cracking up already.
It is really difficult to fill so much free time. Used to work 45/50 hours a week so that is 50 hours of time to fill.

    Any suggestions.

Sorry OP, not trying to hijack your thread.

Trying to stay positive and making sure I am up early every morning but by lunch I have most things done. I really don't want to slip into a rut.

Yeah but "cheeking" a "nodge" to avoid detection on committal to "The Joy" isn't the same as being a gayer

I'd say you're fond of "cheeking" a "todge" tbh ;)

Ok enough of the innuendos! Why don't you just go for a walk or a run or something?

To be honest I am against environmental protection. As previously stated am a bender so don't have kids so I intend to use plastic bags and aerosols and all that (I only use my recycling bin because people might notice if I didn't and I would be ostracised from the community)

No no the innuendos are good.

I can't run at the moment I've hurt my back (that's why I have an actual afternoon to myself normally I would go and do something in work just to have something to do) and it has to be said day time TV is pretty crap like

Run a nice warm bath, will help the back! Get some tunes on, Pet Shop Boys, Jimmy Sommerville, Queen, Erasure, your kind of stuff :P and just relax! Maybe read a book while you are in there.

If you have a bad back you are very limited to what you can do anyway, just take it easy!
