    strange one alright, but I suppose you cant tell how people will react when they have to make such a huge move. there are plenty of non sports people who tried emmigrate to Australia who have come home after a couple of months too, so its not much different than that really. I was reading about him only last week or so saying how he was desperate to get playing in a game.
