This presenter doesn't seem to be able to differentiate between licenced and private clampers, one has rules, one doesn't.

She's moaning about being left there and they wouldn't take the clamp off till she paid something. She's also complaining that they wouldn't let her friend pay for a ticket.

What happened to her friend? Couldn't she pay the fine/down-payment?

Courts are backed up enough without bringing everyone who doesn't pay a ticket to court.

It doesn't go to court. It's scare tactics from NCPS. One guy took them to court and the judge ruled the €120 fine was illegal, if it was €1 an hour and he was there for an extra hour, he owes NCPS €1.

Basically, NCPS are just hoping people are desperate and stupid enough to just pay the release fee.

Both did want to pay the fine, having admitted that they were in the wrong. It's the immediate requirement to do so that's the issue.

Spoofer taxi driver who thinks that a yellow plate on their roof exempts them from all rules of the road. If I or you do the same we'd get a fine, so what.
