Sydney is a big place. Not much point somebody suggesting somewhere without know where exactly you are. There are gyms everywhere in Sydney though. Should be pretty easy to find you near you.

Any why not a fitness first or a chain gym. If they have what you need I don't see the issue.

Chain gyms tend to a bit cold and lack personailty
Fitness First in particular can be a fight to use equipment such as a bench

sorry should have have made my location more clear im in the surry hills area in sydney

might try the pcyc in redfern see what thats like its cheap and they do boxing classes aswell

I've never had an issue at any of the fitness first gyms with equipment. There's more than one bench, squat rack etc. So don't normally need wait, maybe a bit at peak times. My fitness first gym does boxing, but i don't think its standard in all gyms.

The PCYC is the comunity centre isn't it. I wouldn't expect much in terms of equipment. But sure worth a shot.

eh they have a decent bit there enought to do the job good dumbell and weights section decent bit of cardio stuff aswell might do a 1 or 2 single visits around peak time see what id be up against

yea i have just found fitness first to a be to crowded around peak times only thing ilike about them is there flexi membership where you can go to any off there gyms

if the pcyc works out its only 50 dollars a month which is pretty much as good as you will get

The gym around the corner from the Starbucks is excellent, it has a pool and sauna too.

Used to go to spin city in bondi, not sure if it's still there

Had a nice free weights area & plenty of cardio stuff. Was very quiet during the day

It is remarkable that this question can get an actual useful answer on an Irish website!

Says a lot about Ireland at present!

Boxing works isn't in the city centre. They're in darlinghurst, i think they were previously somewhere.
If the op wants to take up proper boxing, kcikboxinf, BJJ and not jsut boxercise. THey this would be the palce to go to.
Not too far from Surry hills.

You actually pay for that service, you can pay a cheaper rate and be a member of one gym only. I used to use 3 clubs, but only use one now so changed my plan to save money.
