Where do modelling agencies stand with only hiring attractive people for modelling positions?

There are no protections for ugly people in law. Aside from anything else, how exactly would you objectively define ugly?

Sorry , things can be childish here at times.

No , there is no protection for ' ugly ' folk in employment legislation however it is worth bearing in mind that protection does exist in cases of ' ageism ' so a person fired or moved to a different position because they are older than others would have a degree of protection.
Similarly , if someone felt they had been unfairly selected because of ( say ) obesity they may be able to make a case that their obesity is actually a disability - yeah , I know we've all met people who blame their obesity on their glands but it can happen :p

No, they have all the same protections as 'pretty' people. They just arent given any extra protections

People get fired from their jobs all the time, because they just don't look right for the office. The English have a term for it, 'face fit', or 'face didn't fit' for someone who just gets fired for no reason in particular just their face didn't fit the office.

It's not really about the kind of attractiveness you have in modelling. If you look at Irish culture, the people who are considered the most attractive are actually ugly.
