    Need a big win to show the world that this England job craic won't effect us. The other teams around us havent it that easy so it could work out well for us this weekend.

    I'm saying 2-1 win with Ade back to full form.

    Pienaar 1-0

    Good man yourself!

    Arsenal 0-0 too. Liverpool could get away with that loss.

    2-0 to Everton over Chelsea,Sunderland 1-0 up on Arsenal.If everything stays as it is and we win it will be a very profitable day indeed.

    Newcastle team v Tottenham:
    Krul;
    Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Santon;
    Obertan, Guthrie, Perch, Gutierrez;
    Ba, Cisse

    Peanut has been awesome, he belongs there.

    Only change for us is Saha makes his debut, he's in for Jake.

    Newcastle team v Tottenham: Krul; Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Santon; Obertan, Guthrie, Perch, Gutierrez; Ba, Cisse

    And that leaves us looking like this

    Friedel;
    Walker, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto;
    Kranjcar, Modric, Parker, Bale;
    Adebayor, Saha.

    Was hoping Lennon would be back in the team, but Nico did well last week. Hopefully he can make an impact from the bench.

    Friedel
    Walker--Daws---King--Benny
    Bale--Modric--Parker--Kranjcar
    ----Saha--Ade

    Confirmed line-up:

    Friedal
    Walker --- King --- Dawson --- BAE
    Kranjcar --- Parker --- Modric --- Bale
    Saha --- Ade

    Can't wait for this, we need to capitalise on Chelsea (and hopefully the Goons) dropping points.

    Here are our subs - Cudicini, Bongani, Nelsen, Rose, Livermore, Lennon, Defoe.

    Yea I'm really looking forward to this. Hopefully Ade can end his goal drought and actually look like he wants to play for a change.

    Would love if Saha scored too.

    I take back all the doubtful things i said about Saha when we signed him :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,944 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

    Lots of folks on here doubted Parker then Saha. There fantastic players, keep Saha fit and he will score vital goals.

    Niko has played really well as have the entire team. Newcastles hole must resemble the Japanese flag. ESPN too.

    ha he has played well enough in fairness-always liked the lad but he never could get too much game time ahead of the bigger names in the squad-
    he should have hit the target with those 2 shots on his right foot from edge of the box like-a smashing technical player , a joy to see him and the team in full speed:D:D:D:D

    Knowing Spurs we'll concede early. A clean sheet would be fantastic considering there top two are a handful.

    If Niko had the pace Lennon does, then there would only be one choice.

    i hate the way lennon gets his game ahead of him-all he has is pace no final ball or vision or real goal threat either

    Time for a substitution, game has gone stale.
