The first rule of a coup is to promise the people everything and then turn around and be even worse than the last chap so if it's true the North Koreans are even more fooked than they were.:(

More internment camps, death camps and famine and poverty more than likely on the way.

Our Dear Leader who art in China.
    Hallowed be thy name,
    Your kingdom come,
    your will be done,
on earth as it is in N. Korea
Give us this day our ration of bread,
    and forgive us our trespasses
and those who trespass in N. Korea
lead us not into temptation of consumer electronics
    but deliver us from capitalism.

    Amen.

If there was a coup the coupists would have taken over the TV and Twitter, so obviously it didn't happen.

If it's a coup it's likely to have been carried out by DPRK officials unhappy with the direction that Kim Jong Un wanted to take the country. It's a step backwards if this is true.

The internet would take a while, since North Korea has none except some severely restricted encyclopedia websites for students and some email. Nothing else, it's not like China where it's just censored. Only Pyongang has telephone lines and electricity.

Someone over on Politics.ie said it was on the cnn newsfeed, also reports saying that P.L.A have entered North Korea.
