Equivalents of WUBI

    Hi,
    I installed WUBI on my windows laptop. This is a simple installation of ubuntu that means I can easily boot up in Ubuntu without having to worry about partitioning drives.

    Is their an equivalent of WUBI for any of the other linux flavours?

    if the computer are using is high enough in memory and processor,itd be worth looking into proper virtualisation-use a virtual machine such as virtualbox,just download an ISO of whichever linux distro is favoured and open it inside a virtualbox shell.

    have used the wubi method on current laptop due to having no dvd drive/usb stick nor money to buy them,and always assumed it was a strictly canonical project,but... have just searched wubi on wikipedia now,and found an alternative- http://www.topologilinux.com/index.php?menu=2
    sorry it didnt mention any other alternatives,but virtualisation from inside a host operating system [such as windows] is probably the next step after wubi.
